Big Texas Comicon

Thank you for your interest in hosting a Fan Panel at Big Texas Comicon! We are excited to announce that this year marks the very first time fan-led panels will be featured at our convention. This is a special opportunity for our community to come together, share passions, and create memorable experiences for fellow fans.

We are truly grateful to everyone who applies and helps us make history with this new addition to the schedule. Whether your panel is informative, entertaining, or interactive, we welcome your creativity and enthusiasm.

Selected panelists will have the chance to showcase their knowledge, connect with audiences, and help shape this exciting new tradition.

We look forward to reviewing your application and thank you for being a part of the very first Fan Panels at Big Texas Comicon!

All Fan Panel applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Applicants under 18 are still welcome to apply, but they must have a parent or legal guardian present during the panel.

Approved Fan Panel applicants will receive a weekend badge to Big Texas Comicon as compensation for their participation.

Overview:  The Costume Contest will take place in the Hemisfair Ballroom on the 3rd floor of the Henry B. González Convention Center on Sunday, October 19th, starting at 4:00 PM.

*Admission to Big Texas Comicon is required for entry.

Please show up outside the Hemisfair Ballroom on the 3rd floor of the Convention Center by 3pm Sunday, October 19th for lineup and prejudging. 

Weapon/Prop Policy: No functional weapons. Any violation of this policy will result in disqualification. No glitter, confetti, pyrotechnics, live flame or smoke effects of any kind are allowed.

Costume Theme Policy: No explicit or inappropriate language or gestures. ALL costumes must be in good taste. No nudity.
