The Kimmswick Strawberry Festival is a major annual event that draws thousands of visitors to the historic City of Kimmswick annually, rain or shine! Hundreds of vendors including artisan crafters, merchants, artists, collectors, live musicians, specialty food trucks and booths, and select corporate sponsors bring their very best offerings for this festival during the first weekend of June. The Kimmswick Strawberry Festival attracts 40-80k visitors through our historic town over the course of the 2-day festival!

Parking instructions
ATTENDEES: Parking is available along HWY K in the Kimmswick Regular Parking-Ballfield. Handicap parking is also available in this area. Across from the ballfield, is the Windsor School District Regular Parking Field. Each of these locations require a nominal fee to park. Cash or Card is accepted. There is a private field available as well on Hwy K for a nominal fee. The Windsor High School and Middle School provide parking on their campuses. Their address is 949 Windsor Harbor Rd., Imperial Mo. 63052. The City of Kimmswick provides shuttle buses that are ADA compliant to and from the festival and Windsor Parking Lots.
VENDORS:
Parking is available in our Vendor Parking Lots. A map will be provided to you prior to your arrival.
Each vendor space rental fee includes one parking pass. An additional parking pass can be obtained at Kimmswick City Hall, if space is still available. Please advise in advance if you require Handicap parking when applying as a vendor as limited space is available. If you provide this information/documentation prior to your arrival, a handicap parking pass will be placed in your packet instead of a regular vendor parking pass.
Vendor vehicles are permitted briefly on Kimmswick City Streets for loading & unloading ONLY.
Please do not block any driveways while you are unloading. Please remember to respect our city residents and merchants, they must be able to enter their driveways to their homes and businesses.
Vehicles must be moved IMMEDIATELY prior to setting up your booth location. Vendors MUST break down their booth areas prior to retrieving their vehicles for loading up Sunday evening.
Vehicles are not allowed into city field, or either Kimmswick park for unloading/loading. This rule is strictly enforced. Please bring wagons, dolly’s etc. to transport your inventory. You can park on city streets to UNLOAD/LOAD ONLY. If you are found to be in violation of these instructions/rules, The City of Kimmswick may deem you not eligible for future events.
Vendor Vehicles are NOT ALLOWED back inside the festival grounds until AFTER 5 p.m. or when the streets have been deemed safe by the Kimmswick Police Chief on Saturday and Sunday. This is a profoundly serious safety issue to our vendors, residents, and visitors. YOU WILL RECEIVE A CITATION IF VIOLATED. The City of Kimmswick may also deem you not eligible for future events.
If you need to re-supply your booths, please come prepared with wagons or carts to carry your items into the festival grounds between 8 a.m.& 5 p.m.
The morning of the festivals, the city streets are closed to all vehicle traffic by 8 a.m. This includes all vendor vehicles being removed from city streets to designated parking areas.

Health & safety
Health & Safety Guidelines:
All Food Vendors must obtain a Food and Beverage Permit from the Jefferson County Health Department (JCHD) before arriving at the festival unless Cottage Law applies to you.
If you are a vendor with pre-packaged food and are providing samples at the festival, you MUST obtain a Food & Beverage permit from the Jefferson County Health Department.
Documentation must be provided to the City of Kimmswick prior to or upon picking up your event packet and parking pass at City Hall.
IF YOU HAVE NOT PROVIDED THESE DOCUMENTS, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE.

The Jefferson County Health Department WILL HAVE STAFF AT THE EVENT DAILY TO ENSURE FOOD VENDORS ARE IN COMPLIANCE.
If found not in compliance, you will be asked to leave. You will not be able to tear down or load up your booth equipment until the festival has ended.
FOOD/BEVERAGE VENDORS ARE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE INSURANCE, showing the City of Kimmswick as an additionally insured for minimum of 2,000,000.00 (2-million dollars).
If you are cooking food, you will also need to contact the Rock Community Fire Protection District to see if you require a permit. You may call them at 636-296-2211 or visit their website at
THERE ARE NO REFUNDS IF YOU ARE REQUESTED TO LEAVE THE FESTIVAL BY THE CITY OF KIMMSWICK STAFF AND/OR ANY DEPARTMENTS MENTIONED ABOVE.

Terms & Conditions
The rules and regulations set by the City of Kimmswick and the Kimmswick Events Committee are binding on all Vendors, Partners, and Corporate Sponsors. The City of Kimmswick and the City of Kimmswick Events Committee reserve the right to accept or refuse any Vendor or corporate Sponsor application in their sole and absolute discretion. Your application is an electronic agreement. By submitting it, you affirmed you read the terms and conditions and agreed to adhere to them.
SALES TAX: Per the Missouri Department of Revenue. Each vendor will be responsible for collection and payment of Missouri Sales Tax Please contact the Missouri Department of Revenue 573-751-3505. We do send a report to the D.O.R.; however, it is your responsibility to contact them prior to the events.
Register with the State of Missouri for a State Sales Tax Number.
NO festival vendor spaces will be secured as complimentary by any business or nonprofit organization that engages in the sale of goods, products, or services at the City of Kimmswick Festivals.
NO festival vendor spaces maybe subleased or secured on behalf of another organization at the City of Kimmswick Festivals. No exceptions will be made.
NO partial or half vendor spaces will be made available or sold at City of Kimmswick Festivals.
NO trademark infringement will be permitted. Monitoring and enforcement personnel are on site throughout the festival.
FESTIVAL DAYS/HOURS
• All festivals are held rain or shine. Please plan accordingly.
• NO REFUNDS AFTER MAY 1st. NO EXCEPTIONS.
• Festival hours are 10:00am to 5:00pm daily (Saturday & Sunday)
• The city streets will be shut down to ALL vehicle traffic at 8:00 am EACH MORNING OF THE FESTIVAL. At that time VENDORS must have their vehicles out of the festival grounds and in the parking areas. ANY VEHICLES REMAINING WITHIN THE FESTIVAL GROUNDS AFTER 8 A.M. WILL BE TOWED AT OWNER”S EXPENSE.
• Absolutely no early breakdown or early packing allowed. This includes consolidating items on your table or taking items to your vehicle. Early packing triggers a chain reaction with other vendors packing and causes customers to leave thinking the event has ended. You will not be eligible for future events if violated.
• If you are found to be in violation of any Festival Guidelines, or any criminal acts (harassment, disturbing the peace, etc.) and are asked to leave the festival, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO TEAR DOWN YOUR BOOTH SPACE UNTIL AFTER 5 P.M. You will also not be eligible for future events.
You will need to come to City Hall (6041 Third St. Kimmswick Mo. 63053) to check in and receive your parking pass and booth number cards before setting up your booth. THE BOOTH NUMBER CARDS ARE YOUR TEMPORARY BUSINESS LICENSES AND MUST BE DISPLAYED AT ALL TIMES. Alcohol vendors have an additional Liquor License inside their packet that must be displayed at all times as well. While at City Hall, we can assist you with any questions, directions, or concerns. MAPS OF THE FESTIVAL GROUNDS WILL BE INCLUDED IN YOUR PACKETS. These maps include locations of restrooms(including Handicap), hand washing stations, ATM’s, Fire/Police/EMS, large dumpsters, vendor, handicap vendor, and regular parking locations. If you would like to view the list of vendors near you during the festival, you can visit , search Kimmswick, Click the tab “MAP”, Click the tab “View Full Map,” scroll down, and you will find the list of all our vendors, as well as another map (birds eye view) of the festival grounds with all the booths included on it. Your packet will include 1 parking pass.
BOOTH SPACES
• Each participant is required to provide their own tent(s), table(s), chair(s), and materials. Tent sizes must be in increments of 10 x 10 ft. Consider purchasing weights or ties to secure your tent, and anything else to safely and effectively operate for the duration of the festival
•You are to contain your merchandise within your designated space.
• If you set your booth up in the wrong area you will be asked to move. PLEASE CHECK AND DOUBLE CHECK YOUR SPACE LOCATION… WHEN IN DOUBT ASK. Someone will be happy to help.
• Booths are side by side and back-to-back. You will be given a map with your space clearly marked.
• This is the only area you will be allowed to sell from. No microphones are allowed.
• Music will not be allowed inside your booth without prior consent from the festival committee.
• Silent Generators are allowed; however, if complaints are made due to the loudness of you generator, the festival staff will advise you to turn it off. If a second complaint is made after being asked to turn it off, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE.
• NO illicit, illegal, sexual or profanity items will be displayed or sold at any festivals.
• No selling from cardboard boxes/rubber tubs, all inventories is to be placed on tables and neatly displayed boxes/tubs must be kept out of site, if under your table they must be covered.
• Keep your area clean and free of debris, there are dumpsters throughout town, for your convenience, please break down your cardboard boxes before PLACING in the dumpster DO NOT PILE NEXT TO or on top of DUMPSTERS.
• If any of the previously listed rules and regulations are not followed you may be asked to shut down your booth and leave the festival.
• Rules are subject to change without notice.
• This event is rain or shine, no refunds given for inclement weather.
• Wet Grounds….No hay, straw, saw dust, oil dry or cardboard are permitted. Plywood is allowed.
ELECTRICITY
• Those who purchased electricity are authorized for ONE (1) outlet per electrical purchase.
• If you are found utilizing Kimmswick City Electricity without purchasing prior to festival, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE FESTIVAL. YOU WILL NOT BE ELEIGIBLE FOR FUTURE EVENTS IF VIOLATED.
• The City of Kimmswick does not promote the purchase of electricity from businesses or residence. The City of Kimmswick cannot be held liable for any issues related to utilizing electricity from non-city outlets.
SET-UP
• You will not be allowed to pull vehicles onto any of the booth areas ( Park/Field lots) to unload. This rule is strictly enforced. Please bring wagons, dolly’s etc. to transport your inventory. You can park on city streets to UNLOAD/LOAD only.
• Once you unload, you must immediately move your vehicle to the parking areas. DO NOT BEGIN SET UP UNTIL YOU HAVE REMOVED/PARKED YOUR VEHICLE IN THE DESIGNATED PARKING AREAS. YOU WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR FUTURE EVENTS IF VIOLATED.
• You may begin set up on Thursday or Friday prior to the festival if you are in the City Hall lot or one of the parks. If you are renting a STREET SPACE, you CANNOT start set up until after 4:00pm on Friday before the Festival. If your space number begins with a letter, you are on a street. The only lettered booths not on city streets, are the following:
o Large Food Vendor # 1, Large Food Vendor # 2, S61 & S62, P1-P22A
• If you choose to set up the day of the festival, please keep in mind that you will have to move your vehicle off the street before 8:00am. You will need to unload your vehicle and then move it to the designated parking lots as soon as you are done unloading.
TEAR-DOWN
• YOU MUST COMPLETELY TEAR DOWN YOUR BOOTH SPACE BEFORE BRINGING YOUR VEHICLE ONTO THE FESTIVAL GROUNDS TO LOAD YOUR VEHICLE. YOU WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR FUTURE EVENTS IF VIOLATED.
• Please do not block any driveways while you are unloading. Please remember to respect our city residents and merchants, they must be able to enter their driveways to their homes and businesses.
THE FESTIVAL COMMITTEE
• Has the right to refuse all vendors at any time before or during the Festival and request that they leave the premises.
• We reserve the right to determine vendor location. This determination will be based on the size and space available as well as the type of craft, product, or attraction.
• At the festival (event) committee discretion, vendor location may be moved, prior to set up, for any reason.
• We encourage all vendors to promote this event to the best of their ability, by hanging posters, posting on social media, tagging the City of Kimmswick Events page on Facebook and/or Instagram, inviting your network to our Facebook event page.
• Vendors are encouraged to be festive!
FESTIVAL HARRASSMENT & DISCRIMINATION POLICY
The City of Kimmswick and the Kimmswick Event Committee desires to provide a positive and productive business and entertainment environment. To that end, the Festival is committed to providing a business and entertainment environment that is free of discrimination and harassment, and to provide a means of dealing with such incidents should they occur.
All determinations are made on an individual basis. The Festival Staff has the discretion to apply any sanctions or a combination of sanctions to eliminate any unlawful conduct and remedy the impact of any harassment or discrimination, such as:
1. Counseling the offender.
2. Transferring the offender to another position/location.
5. Discharging the offender from the festival; or
6. Terminating the business relationship with the offender.
The Festival will not condone retaliation against any individual who reports possible harassment or discrimination or assists in an investigation of possible harassment or discrimination.
SECURITY
• Extra police presence will be provided Friday and Saturday night.
• Participants are responsible for their merchandise and equipment in case of loss or damage.
• The Festival Committee, The City of Kimmswick, its Officers, agents or employees shall be held free from and against all expenses, claims, actions, liabilities, attorney fees, damages, and losses of any kind whatsoever, actually or allegedly, resulting from or connected with the operation of said booths.
LIABILITIES:
• Vendors are responsible for any injury that occurs to their booth/tent/vehicle/equipment and display items. Vendors agree to indemnify and hold harmless said organizations and individuals for any damage or injury which may result from the sale/display/operation of your products.
• Vendors release and hold harmless the City of Kimmswick and its employees, City officials, and agents, the Events Committee and its individual members from all responsibility for damage/loss/theft to the crafts/products/food displayed and/or sold and their personal possessions as well as for any personal injury to themselves or others
• The City of Kimmswick, City officials, employees and agents, the Events Committee and its individual members shall be held harmless from and against all expenses, claims, actions, liabilities, attorney fees, damages, and losses of any kind whatsoever resulting from or connected with the operation of any event space rented from the City of Kimmswick.
