About this event
We look forward to the 2025 Cathedral City Hot Air Balloon Festival. Join us for three days of activities for the whole family that include balloon tether rides, nighttime balloon glows, drone light show, live musical entertainment, gourmet food trucks, interactive family activities, art installations, an outdoor artisan market, carnival rides and games, and so much more! We hope you will enjoy the 11th Annual Cathedral City Hot Air Balloon Festival!
Since its inception in 2015, the Cathedral City International Hot Air Balloon Festival has become a cherished tradition in the Coachella Valley. Now in its 11th year, this vibrant three-day event draws over 25,000 visitors annually, offering a spectacular blend of hot air balloon displays, live music, classic car shows, and family-friendly entertainment.
Recognized among the Top 14 Hot Air Balloon Festivals by U.S. News & World Report and honored with the Palm Award for Visitor Experience, the festival has grown into a must-attend event that captures the spirit of California's desert charm.
Join us in continuing this beloved tradition—where the skies are painted with color, the streets resonate with music, and memories are made under the sun-soaked California sky.
