Our story

Eventeny was started by two passionate founders, Aly Hussaini and Nausheen Punjani, who truly understand the ins and outs of event planning, and the stress that so often comes along with it.

It all began when Aly’s sister, an event planner, was going crazy trying to plan an event, and Aly began brainstorming solutions to help his sister out.

He and his wife and business partner, Nausheen, who was working in data and information technology at the time, decided to dedicate their time to creating a product that would help event organizers like Aly’s sister plan events with ease and flexibility, without the stress.

2018

The beginning

Event planning is widely regarded as one of the most stressful jobs, and Aly and Nausheen aimed to create a product that would make the process effortless. When Aly's sister, an event planner, was overwhelmed by the stress of organizing an event, Aly decided to develop a solution that would make planning feel seamless and straightforward. Their goal was to create an all-in-one platform that was both powerful and intuitive to use.

2019

Building the team

When building out our initial team, we focused on finding people who understood our customers, and our values - people who cared about our product.

Customer-led growth

Everything from our name, to our core identity, as a customer-centric company, is shaped by our initial ten customers.

Pivoting and adaptability

When COVID-19 struck, we swiftly adapted to a world with few in-person events by expanding our product marketplace, allowing small business owners across the country to sell their products during a challenging time. Today, our marketplace hosts over 4,000+ small business owners around the country.

2021 - 2023

Product expansion

We grew fast, expanding our product with powerful new features. Highlights include integrated eSign contracts across all key workflows, new marketing tools like discount code management, affiliate tracking links, and ad integrations with Facebook and Google, plus a redesigned mobile app built for event planners and participants on the go. And as our product evolved, so did our team and vision for the future.

2023 - present

Partnerships and growth

Through strategic partnerships with companies like ProtectGroup and Vertical Insure, we’ve expanded our product offerings and built meaningful collaborations with industry leaders — all to create smoother, more seamless event experiences. These partnerships led to the launch of features like evProtect and evCover, designed to reduce stress and lighten the load for event organizers.

Our values

Transparency-1
Transparency

As a company, one of our top priorities is ensuring alignment across the team. We value transparency in leadership, covering everything from key metrics and revenue to feedback, collaboration, and stakeholder needs. Despite our rapid growth, we prioritize keeping everyone focused on our mission and "north star"—the number of events on our platform—and making sure the entire team is clear on both our current position and future goals.

ownership
Ownership

At Eventeny, everyone is an "owner," with the belief that the company could thrive even if the co-founders walked away. We value learning from mistakes and encourage employees to take risks, fostering a culture of ownership, initiative, and going above and beyond. We see ourselves as a sports team, where empowerment and collaboration allow everyone to feel like they have a stake in the company.

Do what's right

We've always prioritized ethics over profit, believing that short-term gains aren't worth compromising on values. When developing products, we focus on meeting customer needs while ensuring the wellbeing of our employees. Our long-term vision centers on sustainable growth, empowering both our team and events across the country.

Build together

Collaboration is key at Eventeny. From engineers and designers building product releases to marketing, customer support, and QA teams working together on testing and bug fixes, we support each other by working together and offering feedback, not taking on each other’s work.

Celebrate

We celebrate our team's wins in weekly meetings, syncs, and department deep-dives, highlighting the exciting work each team contributes. This not only keeps everyone informed about ongoing projects but also gives team members the opportunity to share their individual accomplishments with the company.

Group 360
Perserverance

Our team's ownership mentality drives perseverance, as employees feel invested in the company's success and the importance of their work. Aligned around our "north star"—the number of events on our platform—we collaborate to continuously improve our product for users.

Group 356-1

Championing collaboration and diversity

At Eventeny, we view ourselves as a sports team rather than a family, focusing on collaboration and empowering each other to excel. We foster teamwork through regular syncs, department deep dives, and transparent meetings where everyone can showcase their work.

We also celebrate achievements in weekly wins meetings and weekly game sessions.

Our team is diverse, reflecting the wide range of backgrounds of our customers, and we believe that hiring from varied perspectives strengthens our company.

An all-in-one solution

Our platform offers a fully integrated experience, connecting ticketing, vendor management, a growing product marketplace, and interactive maps into one seamless system.

Your vendors are linked with interactive maps, making it easy to manage booth placement, and guide attendees. Ticket sales sync with your event schedule, while contracts and mobile app features are integrated across all aspects of the event, allowing for on-the-go  management.

Information is retained year-over-year and event-over-event, allowing organizers to easily copy and build on past event success. And it doesn't stop there - the marketplace also allows small businesses to sell products directly within the event, adding value for both vendors and attendees.
