Vendor experience with Shop and Stroll Makers Market
I’m leaving this review to warn both future vendors and shoppers about my experience with Shop and Stroll Makers Market.
I paid to vend at their Triangle Town Center location based on the event and location that were advertised when I signed up. After payment, the organizer’s agreement with Triangle Town Center was cancelled and the market was moved to Burlington.
Burlington is over an hour away from me, and that is not the location I agreed to when I paid for my vendor spot. I requested a refund because the event/location I originally paid for was no longer being offered. Instead of refunding me, I was expected to simply accept the new location.
I also contacted Eventeny for assistance with the refund, and Mary did not respond to their request for a resolution.

We understand that this situation was disappointing, but we want to clarify the circumstances for future vendors. The original April event was scheduled at Triangle Town Center in Raleigh and was cancelled after a shooting occurred at the mall, creating a serious safety concern for vendors and attendees. After the cancellation, we offered alternative dates, including May and June events at Triangle as well as a May event at Tanger . These alternatives were declined. We also offered events in Burlington. At the time of the April cancellation, we did not know there would be additional security concerns at the mall. This vendor later told us she planned to return to vending in August. On May 22, we notified her that the August event would not be taking place due to insufficient vendor interest. She responded that if we felt the need to cancel, we should do so and asked to be notified. When she contacted us on Aug 21 955p about the Aug 22 event, we again explained our return policy
