Welcome to Her Next Chapter! Thank you for your interest in becoming a vendor at Her Next Chapter: A Women’s Wellness & Self-Care Experience, presented by Shop and Stroll Markets. Her Next Chapter is a lifestyle-focused wellness gathering created to support, encourage, and empower women in every season of life. This event is designed for moms, caregivers, grandparents, seniors, and women seeking encouragement, connection, personal growth, wellness resources, and opportunities to prioritize themselves. This is not a traditional vendor event. It is a curated wellness experience featuring inspiring speakers, educational conversations, wellness demonstrations, self-care services, community resources, and carefully selected businesses that support healthier, happier lifestyles. Our goal is to create a welcoming, uplifting, and professional environment where attendees can relax, recharge, discover resources, and connect with businesses and organizations that support women's wellness.
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before submitting your application.
APPLICATION & ACCEPTANCE Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance. Vendors, sponsors, and participating businesses are selected based on:
Alignment with the event mission
Product or service quality
Professional presentation
Wellness, lifestyle, or community connection
Overall event needs
Shop and Stroll Markets reserves the right to limit vendor categories to maintain a balanced and meaningful experience for attendees. The Organizer reserves the right to deny, decline, or remove any vendor, speaker, sponsor, or participant who does not meet event standards or professional expectations.
APPROVED VENDOR CATEGORIES
Her Next Chapter welcomes businesses, organizations, and professionals that support women's wellness, self-care, personal growth, family wellness, and healthy lifestyles.
Examples include: Wellness products, Self-care products, Handmade goods, Boutique businesses, Beauty services, Hair, nail, and spa services, Massage and relaxation services, Health and wellness professionals, Fitness and movement professionals, Nutrition resources, Financial wellness resources, Senior wellness resources, Community organizations, Nonprofits, Authors and educators, Coaches and mentors, Lifestyle brands.
All vendors must be approved by Shop and Stroll Markets prior to participation.
PROHIBITED ITEMS & SERVICES
The following are not permitted:
Counterfeit merchandise, Copyrighted or trademarked products without proper authorization, Illegal products or services, Misleading health claims, Products or services that are unsafe or inappropriate for attendees, AI-generated products represented as handmade or original creations.
Shop and Stroll Markets reserves the right to remove any product, display, or vendor that does not align with the purpose and atmosphere of the event. SPEAKERS, PROFESSIONALS & WELLNESS SERVICES. Her Next Chapter welcomes qualified professionals who wish to educate, encourage, and support attendees.
Potential topics may include: Mental health and emotional wellness, Stress management and burnout prevention, Self-care without guilt, Confidence and self-worth, Healthy relationships and boundaries, Caregiver wellness, Grief and life transitions, Healthy aging, Nutrition and movement, Financial wellness, Mindfulness and personal growth, Women's health and wellness. Speaker and presentation opportunities are limited and require approval. All speakers, educators, and wellness professionals must provide accurate information and represent their qualifications honestly.
VENDOR PROMOTION REQUIREMENTS Accepted vendors agree to help promote the event. Vendors agree to:
Share official event graphics when provided, Invite customers, family, friends, and community members, Promote their participation through social media when possible, Provide business information and photos if requested, Allow Shop and Stroll Markets to use vendor names, logos, booth photos, and promotional materials for event marketing purposes without compensation. Successful events require teamwork between organizers, vendors, speakers, sponsors, and community partners.
VENDOR SPACE & SETUP
This is an INDOOR EVENT located at: Mebane Community Arts Center Mebane, NC Inside the Gym
Vendor space details will be provided upon acceptance. Each vendor space may include: One 6-foot table space &One chair. Vendors are responsible for providing: Table covering, Business signage, Display materials, Any required equipment or supplies. Displays must remain within the assigned vendor area and may not block aisles, exits, or neighboring vendors. Additional spaces may be available with approval. Electricity and Wi-Fi are not guaranteed. EVENT SCHEDULE
Vendor Setup: Time will be announced closer to the event date.
Event Hours: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM Breakdown: Begins immediately after the event concludes. Vendors must remain open and operational for the entire event unless approved by Shop and Stroll Markets. Early breakdown is not permitted. Late arrival without prior approval may result in forfeiture of vendor space and fees.
REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY
All vendor fees, sponsorship fees, and participation fees are:
Non-refundable Non-transferable
No refunds, credits, or transfers will be issued due to: Vendor cancellation, Low attendance, Poor sales, Personal scheduling conflicts, Weather, Venue changes, Schedule changes, Emergencies, Public safety concerns, FORCE MAJEURE
Shop and Stroll Markets and Her Next Chapter shall not be responsible for cancellations, delays, changes, or modifications caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
Severe weather, Natural disasters, Government restrictions, Venue closures, Public safety concerns, Emergencies, Utility failures, Other unforeseen circumstances. Vendor understands these circumstances are outside the Organizer's control. Vendor fees remain non-refundable.
CHARGEBACK POLICY
By submitting payment, Vendor acknowledges that all payments are final. Vendor agrees not to initiate: Chargebacks, Payment disputes, Unauthorized payment claims. Any vendor who initiates a chargeback may be prohibited from future Shop and Stroll Markets events. The Organizer reserves the right to pursue unpaid fees and related costs.
LIABILITY
Vendor assumes responsibility for: Personal injury, Property damage, Theft, Lost merchandise, Damage to displays or equipment. Shop and Stroll Markets, Her Next Chapter, Mebane Community Arts Center, venue staff, volunteers, sponsors, and partners are not responsible for loss, theft, injury, or damage occurring before, during, or after the event.
INSURANCE
Insurance is the responsibility of each vendor if they choose to obtain coverage. Event insurance does not cover :Vendor products, Merchandise, Displays, Equipment, Personal property, Product-related claims. PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT
Vendors, speakers, sponsors, and participants are expected to maintain a professional and respectful environment. Immediate removal without refund may occur for: Harassment, Discrimination, Aggressive behavior, Disruptive conduct, Failure to follow event instructions, Conduct inconsistent with the mission of Her Next Chapter.
COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS
Vendors are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, permits, licenses, and regulations. This includes: North Carolina sales tax requirements, Business licensing requirements, Health department requirements, Professional licensing requirements. Food, health, beauty, and wellness providers must comply with all applicable regulations.
NO VERBAL AGREEMENTS
No verbal statements, promises, or agreements made by Shop and Stroll Markets, event staff, volunteers, sponsors, or venue partners shall modify these Terms & Conditions. Only written agreements approved by Shop and Stroll Markets are considered binding.
GOVERNING LAW
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any legal action arising from this agreement shall be filed within the appropriate courts of North Carolina.
SEVERABILITY If any portion of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full effect.
AGREEMENT By submitting an application and payment, Vendor acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to these Vendor Terms & Conditions. Submission of an application and payment constitutes acceptance of this legally binding agreement.
