Join us for the ultimate showdown of flavor at The _ Tequila Fest’s Chips & Dips for Charity Competition!
This exclusive tasting event invites 500 festival guests to sample your signature chip & dip creation and vote for their favorite. Your restaurant will get prime exposure, dedicated serving space, and inclusion in event promotions—all while supporting True Hospitality Community, a nonprofit helping hospitality workers in times of crisis. Bring your best dip, showcase your brand, and compete for bragging rights, social media features, and the championship trophy!
Competition Details
Exclusive Area: This competition takes place in a dedicated section of the festival.
Attendance: Limited to 500 ticketed guests.
Serving Time: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM (last two hours of the festival).
Restaurant Participation Requirements
Serving Size: Prepare 500 sample servings of your chip and dip creation.
Sample Plates: We will provide disposable chip + dip sample plates. A handful will be dropped off to you in advance for planning purposes.
Tables Provided: Two (2) 6’ tables per restaurant:
Front table: Serving / guest-facing.
Back table: Prep and storage.
Setup/Breakdown: Participants must be set up by 4:30 PM. Breakdown begins at 8:00 PM.
Health & Safety: All food must be prepared in a licensed kitchen prior to the event. On-site prep is limited to assembly, garnish, and serving. Food handling gloves and safe food transport required.
What We Provide
Two 6’ tables (one for serving, one for prep).
Disposable chip & dip trays for serving.
Event promotion (restaurant name/logo included in competition promotions).
What You Provide
Ingredients and preparation for 500 samples.
Staff to serve and represent your restaurant.
Serving utensils and any unique display/decor to showcase your dip.
Competition & Charity Component
Guests will sample and vote for their favorite chip and dip.
A portion of ticket sales goes directly to True Hospitality Community.
The winning restaurant will receive a trophy/plaque + social media feature + bragging rights!
