The Muse Mix

The MelaDen is looking for performers to take the stage at Muse Mix, a community-centered music event celebrating local musicians, vocalists, DJs, and other performing artists.

Each selected performer will receive at least a 15-minute performance set, not including transitional time for setup and breakdown.

Performers are also invited to participate beyond the stage:

~Bring business cards, flyers, CDs, QR codes, music samples, or other promotional materials for our shared Performer Marketing Table.
~Connect directly with attendees and other creatives throughout the event.
~Take advantage of vendor discounts when shopping with participating Muse Mix vendors.

We’re looking for performers who want to share their work, connect with the community, and contribute to an evening centered around music and local talent.

Space is limited to 8 performers. Submitting an application does not guarantee selection. Selected performers will receive additional information regarding set times, equipment, setup, and event logistics.

The MelaDen is bringing together a curated mix of performers, artists and entrepreneurs for our Muse Mix.

The Muse Mix is an indoor musician exhibition designed to give local performers space to showcase their work, connect with customers, and build community.

We intentionally limit duplicate vendor categories so each business has room to stand out. Applications are reviewed based on event fit, availability, and maintaining a balanced vendor mix. Because this is a curated market, we may limit or decline applications when a product or service category is already represented.

Space: 8' × 6'
Location: Indoors
Electricity: Available, but power banks preferred

Chairs: 2 provided per vendor
Beverages: Beverage-only vendors are not currently being accepted

Food: Prepared-food vendors may apply

We welcome artists, makers, crafters, jewelry designers, visual artists, photographers, creative businesses, specialty product makers, and other creative entrepreneurs.

Weather Policy
Because this is an indoor event, the market is a rain-or-shine event and will generally continue as scheduled regardless of rain or other ordinary weather conditions. The market may only be cancelled, postponed, or modified if weather conditions create unsafe travel conditions or otherwise pose a significant safety risk to vendors, attendees, or event staff.

Weather-related decisions will be made with safety in mind. Approved vendors will be notified as soon as a weather-related decision is made.
