We are passionate about supporting handmade, creative, and locally owned businesses while maintaining the quality and integrity of every market.Each event features a carefully selected variety of vendors to create a diverse shopping experience for our community.Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before submitting your application.APPLICATION & ACCEPTANCESubmission of an application does not guarantee acceptance.Vendors are selected based on:Product categoryProduct qualityBooth presentationProfessionalismOverall event needsShop and Stroll Markets reserves the right to limit vendor categories to provide a balanced shopping experience.The Organizer reserves the right to deny or remove any vendor who does not meet event standards or professional expectations.PRODUCT STANDARDSShop and Stroll Markets is an artisan, handmade, and small business marketplace.The following items are strictly prohibited:Resale or wholesale merchandiseMass-produced productsImported manufactured goodsBuy/sell merchandiseCounterfeit or bootleg itemsTrademarked or copyrighted merchandise (including Disney or other protected brands)AI-generated artwork or AI-created products represented as handmadeWe do allow select small businesses and a limited number of approved direct sales (MLM) companies.Violation of these policies may result in immediate removal from the event without refund.VENDOR PROMOTIONAccepted vendors agree to actively promote the event.Vendors agree to:Share official event graphics on social mediaInvite customers, family, and friendsProvide quality product photos if requestedAllow Shop and Stroll Markets to use their business name, logo, and photographs for promotional purposes without compensationVendor participation includes helping promote the event through social media, websites, email lists, and other marketing channels.Marketing is a shared effort, and vendor participation helps create successful events for everyone.VENDOR SPACE & SETUPThis is an indoor event located at:? **5th & Washington Event Center****103 S. Fifth St.**Mebane, NC 27302Each vendor space accommodates:One 6-foot table and small stand or displayOne chairVendors must provide:Their own tableFloor-length tableclothChairBusiness signageAdditional spaces may be purchased, subject to availability and approval.Each additional space includes room for:One tableOne chairMaximum purchase:Three vendor spacesBooth assignments will be provided at check-in.Vendors must:Stay within their assigned booth spaceKeep all merchandise and displays inside their booth boundariesKeep walkways clear at all timesThe following are not permitted:Booth sharingSubleasing booth spaceFloor displaysMerchandise extending into walkwaysElectricity and Wi-Fi are not guaranteed.EVENT SCHEDULEVendor Setup: 12:30 because the street is blocked off at 1:00 PM Set up: you drive up, put all your belongings inside, and IMMEDIATELY PULL TO THE PARKING LOT. Event Hours: 5:30 PM – 9:00 PMBreakdown: 9:00 PM – 10:00 PMVendors must remain set up for the entire event.Early breakdown is not permitted.Late arrivals without prior approval may result in forfeiture of booth space and vendor fees.REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICYAll vendor fees are:Non-refundableNon-transferableNo refunds, credits, or transfers will be issued under any circumstances.Refunds will not be provided due to:Vendor cancellationLow attendancePoor salesWeatherEvent schedule changesVenue adjustmentsPublic safety incidentsEmergenciesFORCE MAJEUREShop and Stroll Markets shall not be held liable for cancellations, delays, or modifications caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:Severe weatherNatural disastersGovernment mandatesVenue closuresPublic safety incidentsEmergenciesUtility failuresOther unforeseen eventsVendor understands that these situations are outside the control of the Organizer.Vendor fees remain non-refundable in these circumstances.CHARGEBACK POLICYBy submitting payment, Vendor agrees that all sales are final.Vendor agrees not to initiate:ChargebacksPayment disputesClaims through payment processorsAny vendor initiating a chargeback may be permanently prohibited from future Shop and Stroll Markets events.The Organizer reserves the right to pursue collection of unpaid fees and any associated legal costs.LIABILITYVendor assumes full responsibility for:Personal injuryProperty damageTheftLoss of merchandiseDamage to equipmentShop and Stroll Markets, its owners, volunteers, staff, venue partners, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any loss or damage.Vendors are strongly encouraged to obtain their own liability insurance.PROFESSIONAL CONDUCTVendors are expected to conduct themselves professionally at all times.The following may result in immediate removal without refund:HarassmentDiscriminationAggressive behaviorDisruptive conductFailure to follow Organizer instructionsCOMPLIANCE WITH LAWSVendors are responsible for complying with all applicable local, state, and federal laws, including:Sales tax requirementsHealth Department regulationsRequired permits or licensesFood vendors are responsible for complying with all applicable North Carolina health and food safety regulations.NO VERBAL AGREEMENTSNo verbal promises, statements, or agreements made by Shop and Stroll Markets, its staff, volunteers, or venue partners shall modify this agreement.Only these written Terms & Conditions are ERNING LAWThis agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.Any legal action arising from this agreement shall be filed exclusively in the appropriate courts within North Carolina.SEVERABILITYIf any provision of these Terms and Conditions is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.AGREEMENTBy submitting an application and payment, Vendor acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.Submission of an application and payment constitutes acceptance of this legally binding agreement.Questions?Shop and Stroll Marketsshopandstrollmarkets@
