Health & Safety Guidelines Gamers Alley Con The safety and comfort of our attendees, vendors, and guests are a top priority. We are committed to providing a safe, welcoming environment for everyone attending Gamers Alley Con at the Gastonia Conference Center. General Safety Expectations All attendees are expected to behave respectfully toward staff, vendors, guests, and fellow attendees. Disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from the event without refund. A parent or guardian must accompany children under the age of 16 at all times. Running, roughhousing, or unsafe behavior inside the venue is not permitted. Emergency exits, hallways, and walkways must remain clear at all times. Gamers Alley Con reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any individual who poses a safety risk or violates event rules. Health Considerations If you are feeling sick, have a fever, or are showing symptoms of illness, please stay home for the safety of others. Attendees are encouraged to practice good hygiene during the event. Costume & Prop Safety (Cosplay) Costumes are welcome and encouraged, but must allow for safe movement and visibility. Prop weapons must be clearly non-functional and safe. Event staff reserves the right to inspect any costume or prop item. Realistic firearms, sharp objects, metal weapons, or any item capable of causing harm are not permitted. Large costumes must not block aisles or create hazards for other attendees. Vendor & Equipment Safety Vendors must maintain safe booth setups and keep aisles clear at all times. Electrical equipment must be safe, in good condition, and properly connected. Event staff may request adjustments to vendor setups if safety concerns arise. Emergency Procedures In the event of an emergency, please follow instructions from event staff and venue personnel. If you see a safety concern, suspicious behavior, or an emergency, report it immediately to event staff.
