Gamers Alley Con is a full weekend celebration of gaming, collectibles, anime, and pop culture. Join us Saturday and Sunday, August 1st and 2nd, at the Gastonia Conference Center for an unforgettable event bringing together fans of video games, trading cards, toys, anime, and collectibles. This is more than a vendor show—it’s a full convention-style experience built for collectors, players, families, and fans of all ages. VIP Early Access Night Friday, July 31st | 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM Kick off the weekend early with exclusive VIP Early Access. VIP attendees receive first access to the Vendor Hall before the main event begins, offering a quieter shopping experience and early opportunity to browse select vendors. Tabletop Gaming Room Enjoy board games, role-playing games, and casual play areas where you can join ongoing sessions or bring your own group. Trading Card Game (TCG) Tournaments Competitive and casual tournaments featuring popular TCG titles. Full schedules and prize details will be announced soon. Please note: Tournament entry may require separate registration or fees. Celebrity Guest Appearances Meet special guests, attend panels, and take part in photo and autograph opportunities. Guest announcements coming soon. Main Vendor Hall Explore vendors offering trading cards, retro and modern video games, vintage toys, anime merchandise, collectibles, and hobby supplies. Cosplay Contests Show off your creativity in our cosplay contests with separate categories for kids and adults.

About the application

Gamers Alley MiniCon is now accepting a limited number of official event sponsors for our 2026 convention at the Gastonia Conference Center. This opportunity is specifically for a featured sponsor of the Panel & Cosplay Stage and the Arcade Hall, two of the most high-traffic and high-energy areas of the event. The Panel & Cosplay Stage serves as a central hub for programming, including panels, guest appearances, and the cosplay contest, providing sponsors with consistent visibility throughout the weekend. This is an opportunity for businesses, brands, and community partners to be showcased in front of a large and engaged audience of gamers, anime fans, cosplayers, collectors, and families. Sponsorship benefits may include: • Branding and promotional placement at the Panel & Cosplay Stage and within the Arcade Hall • Recognition during panels, stage programming, cosplay contest announcements, and arcade activations • Visibility across event announcements and marketing • Social media features and event page shoutouts • On-site promotional opportunities based on sponsorship level This sponsorship does not include vending space. Space for sponsors is extremely limited, and all applications are reviewed based on category fit, alignment, and availability.

These are two of the highest-attendance and most visible features of the convention, bringing together competitive gamers, cosplayers, and fans throughout the entire weekend.
