Step into the moonlit halls of history for The Dark Revel: Villains Ball, a night where elegance meets intrigue. This exclusive soirée, hosted within the opulent and storied walls of the Toledo Club, invites you to embrace your inner mischief-maker for an evening of decadence and daring.
Amid flickering candlelight and echoing melodies, you’ll find yourself surrounded by a cast of mysterious characters—all cloaked in dark glamour. Surrender to the rhythm as live entertainment enchants the senses and the grand ballroom comes alive with music, mystery, and movement. From sultry performances to spirited dancing, every moment will keep you spellbound.
Dress to impress in your finest villainous attire—whether a classic antihero or a modern mastermind, your persona awaits the perfect stage. Masks are encouraged, but what lies beneath them is entirely up to you.
The night holds many secrets, and only those bold enough to attend will uncover them. Will you dare to revel in the shadows?
Layout: Spread between 2 floors in the Toledo Club, on floors 1 and 2. A VIP only lounge is located on floor 2.

Event highlights
Custom Licenses For Villainy
The Royal Scribes will be attending the ball and will be issuing customized licenses for Villany to all patrons. For our honored Pirate Lords, you will get a privateer license, warlocks, and witches permission for the use of the dark arts, and more. Each scroll will be customized on-site by our professional calligrapher.
Trinket Trading
Guests will be invited to engage in trinket trading at the Villains Ball, an optional social game.
Themed Drinks
A unique selection of themed drinks will enhance the evening with ghoulish delight. Cocktails and mocktails will be offered at our full bar service. Adult drinks are not included with admission.
VIP Lounge
VIP patrons enjoy reserved seating and a special lounge space for them to enjoy.
Dessert Bar
Got a sweet tooth? We can help but don't trust any witches giving out apples. Guests will enjoy a dessert bar, with a spread of offerings in a variety of flavors and options.
Live Entertainment
Throughout the night, various live entertainment performances will take place, tailored to the darkest of hearts.
Treasure Hunt
Problematic goblins have cursed important enchanted keys for our kingdom. We need patrons of the Dark Revel to find them. Find and return a key to us, and be rewarded with treasures and relics of old. Over $500 in prizes.
VIP Keepsakes
VIP patrons of the Villains ball will get a keepsake gift bag with unique gifts as a special thank you for their presence at the Dark Revel.
Formal Dress Code
Embrace this as your chance to mingle among utter elegance as Villains from many realms gather in their finest attire. This dress code enforced event is your perfect chance to dress up. From Pirate Lords to Sirens we welcome you all to play upon your choice of villany and how they might dress.
VIP Invitation
VIP patrons will enjoy a custom invitation and welcome packet in the mail. One welcome packet will be mailed per household, and will include personalization touches from our Royal Scribes.
Mimic Hunt
Mimics plague the Dark Revel Villain Ball, and we need your help locating them. A greater mimic has taken root somewhere in the Court, and we need your help finding the mimics. Find them, or keep them - either way we want the mimics gone. No matter what, don't feed them.
Historical Location
The Dark Revel takes place in a beautiful historical venue, rich in history. From floor to ceiling, you will find world-class elegance worthy of the darkest of hearts. Our ball takes place on floors 1 and 2 of the Toledo Club.

The Dark Revel Villains Ball is excited to welcome various authors to apply to join our event. For one magical evening, you can make new fans and engage with old fans. We are looking for Romatnasy and Dark Romance authors who would like to engage with their target fan base. While we do consider ourselves fans of villains, we do have a limitation on the content permitted in the books sold at our event.
Book themes not allowed: bestiality, pedophilia and ageplay, non-consent.
Authors will enjoy prime placement at the ball, and be welcome to treat themselves to food and drinks.

Do you have something whimsical and wonderful to offer that fits the vibe of the Villains Ball? We are looking for artists, crafters, and creators who love to get a little wicked.
-We give consideration to the professional appearance of a booth.
-No MLMs.

-We balance vendors with attendees to try and give our vendors the best chance at success.
-We prefer artists and crafters to directly mass produce and drop ship to resellers.
-Vendors are welcome to snack and drink at the ball, food and drink fees are included with your booth.

-Ticket holder agrees to hold Gathering Of Kingdoms, Limited faultless in the event of personal injury, loss or theft of personal property, and damage to property.
