Colony Days Community Events – Description & Guidelines
What is a Community Event?
A Community Event is an activity organized by an individual, business, or organization within the Greater Palmer area during Colony Days (June 12, 13, and 14). These events take place at the organizer’s chosen location—such as their place of business or another venue—and operate independently of the Palmer Chamber.

  • Community Events can include a wide variety of activities, such as:
  • Concerts or live performances
  • Crafting classes or workshops
  • Games or family-friendly activities
  • Educational presentations
  • Vendor markets or pop-up shops
Event organizers may charge admission or fees at their discretion.

Submission Deadline
All Community Event submissions must be received by:
May 15 at 5:00 PM

Late submissions will not be included in printed materials or guaranteed placement in promotional schedules.

  • Ensuring safety, compliance, and adherence to local regulations
  • Marketing and promoting their event independently (in addition to Chamber promotion, if applicable)
