2027 Red Poppy Festival

• The 2027 Red Poppy Festival Food Vendor Application is an online application process. No paper applications will be accepted, and all food vendors must be a truck or trailer.

• To apply, complete the application form below. The application deadline is January 8, 2027. Applicants will receive an email confirmation following receipt of the application. No payment will be required unless you are accepted.

• Each applicant will be notified of their acceptance status by January 22, 2027.

• If accepted, you will receive an email with your vendor’s location, payment amount, and link to an online payment portal. Fees will range from $1,000 - $1,200 depending on size and location. Payment will be due by February 5, 2027. If payment is not received by the due date, your acceptance will be forfeited.

• Any vendor not cooperating with Red Poppy Festival guidelines will be asked to forfeit his or her booth space and will not be invited to participate in subsequent years.

• There are no refunds or rain checks once your payment has been processed. No refunds or transfers will be made due to cancellation or removal for cause.

• All Food vendors must be in a Food Truck or Trailer.

Mobile food vendors are required to provide:

1.      A valid inspection from the Texas Department of State Health Services. More information can be found here: https://www.dshs.texas.gov/retail-food-establishments/permits-retail-food-establishments/mobile-food-vendors

2.     Mobile Food Vendor Permit from the Georgetown Fire Department. More information can be found here: https://www.georgetowntexas.gov/development_services/permits/other_permits/special_event_permits/food_vending_requirements.php

3.    Submit a copy of your Certificate of Insurance showing proof of liability coverage by April 2, 2027  – Coverage must include a minimum of $500,000 general liability coverage and The City of Georgetown listed as “additional insured” through the event dates.

COMMUNICATION

All correspondence will come to you via e-mail through Eventeny and the City of Georgetown Special Events email. Be sure to add the Eventeny address to your e-mail contacts and check your spam and junk mail folders to ensure our communications are not going to those folders in error. You may reply to any email correspondence from the Eventeny system through Eventeny, or email specialevents@georgetowntexas.gov, so that we can assist you. 

Applications will open on October 1, 2026, and close on January 8, 2027. All applications will go through a jury process. The first round of selections will be notified by January 22, 2027. If you are not selected in the first round of selections, you may be moved to our waitlist, with the second round of selections being completed by February 5, 2027.
