Rise & Pride Crew (Early Morning Setup) Be part of the team that gets the Pride St. Charles Festival started! Rise & Pride Crew volunteers assist with general event setup before the festival opens at 11:00 AM. Tasks may include indoor and outdoor setup at the Family Arena, such as arranging spaces, helping with décor, signage, vendor areas, and other behind-the-scenes preparations that make the Pride St. Charles Festival possible. Volunteers should be comfortable with light to moderate physical activity and flexible with tasks as needs change throughout the morning. Bonus: You’ll already be on-site and ready to enjoy the Pride St. Charles Festival when the festival begins!
Opening Act Crew (Festival Kickoff & Transition Support) The Opening Act Crew helps bring the Pride St. Charles Festival to life as the festival opens! This team supports the transition from setup to showtime by assisting with final preparations, welcoming early arrivals, and helping ensure everything is ready for guests, performers, and vendors as the event begins. Duties may include light indoor and outdoor support at the Family Arena, answering questions, assisting staff as needed, and helping maintain smooth event flow during the opening hours. This shift overlaps briefly with the Rise & Pride Crew, allowing for an easy handoff and on-the-job guidance. This role is perfect for volunteers who enjoy being part of the excitement as the festival kicks off and helping set the tone for a positive, welcoming Pride St. Charles Festival experience.
Pride Pride Crew (Midday Festival Support) The Pride Pride Crew supports the Pride St. Charles Festival during the heart of the festival, helping keep everything running smoothly during peak hours. Volunteers may assist with a variety of tasks both indoors and outdoors at the Family Arena, including guest support, event flow, answering questions, and providing general assistance to staff, vendors, and performers as needed. This role is ideal for volunteers who are flexible, enjoy being part of the action, and are comfortable moving between indoor and outdoor spaces as festival needs change throughout the day. Pride Pride Crew members play a key role in maintaining a welcoming, inclusive, and positive experience for everyone attending the Pride St. Charles Festival.
Closing Act Crew (Late-Day Support & Early Breakdown) The Closing Act Crew supports the Pride St. Charles Festival during the final hours of the festival and helps kick off the initial breakdown once the event concludes at 5:00 PM. Volunteers assist with guest support, event flow, and light indoor and outdoor tasks at the Family Arena, then help with early load-out and cleanup as the festival winds down. This role is designed to help ensure a smooth, positive close to the Pride St. Charles Festival while keeping breakdown efficient and organized. Tasks may vary based on needs and may take place indoors, outdoors, or both. Bonus: This shift focuses on early breakdown only, so volunteers will still have time to head out and enjoy post-Pride celebrations and after-parties!
Load Up Legends (Final Breakdown & Load-Out) The Load Up Legends are the crew that helps bring the Pride St. Charles Festival to a smooth and successful close. This team assists with final breakdown, load-out, and cleanup following the conclusion of the festival, helping return the Family Arena spaces to order. Tasks may include indoor and outdoor work such as packing up supplies, assisting staff and vendors with load-out, and general cleanup as needed. Volunteers should be comfortable with light to moderate physical activity and flexible with tasks as the evening progresses. Bonus: This shift may end early depending on how quickly breakdown is completed, and volunteers will still have time to head out and enjoy post-Pride celebrations and after-parties!
Be part of the team that helps bring Pride St. Charles to life! Our Pre-Pride Prep Crew works behind the scenes on Friday afternoon to transform the Family Arena into a vibrant festival space. Volunteers may help vendors unload and set up their booths, assist the Pride committee with hanging banners and decorations, arrange tables and signage, and help with general indoor and outdoor event preparations. If you enjoy teamwork, a little light activity, and getting a sneak peek at the festival before the crowds arrive, this is the perfect role. Your efforts help ensure everything is ready for an incredible Saturday celebration!
The PEAK Pre-Pride Crew is that final, all-hands-on-deck team that brings everything together! On the eve of Pride, they’re the energetic, last-minute champions who handle the finishing touches—whether it’s perfecting stage setups, placing final décor, testing sound systems, or ensuring everything looks picture-perfect. It’s the peak of anticipation, and this crew ensures that when the sun rises on Pride Day, the magic is ready to shine!
Help us wrap things up by getting PrideFest supplies where they need to go! Volunteers on the Unload & Storage Crew will assist with unloading festival materials, decorations, and equipment from vehicles and moving them into designated storage areas inside the venue. This role involves some lifting, teamwork, and a positive attitude as we organize everything for a smooth and successful event. It’s a great way to jump right into the behind-the-scenes action that makes Pride St. Charles possible! ?? Address for Storage: 2661 Veterans Memorial Parkway, St. Charles, MO
