Handmade Arcade’s Holiday Market is Pittsburgh’s premier handmade holiday shopping event. Each year, the Holiday Market features 275+ makers and welcomes more than 10,000 shoppers to the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.

Parking instructions

The David L. Lawrence Convention Center (DLCC) is located in Downtown Pittsburgh, and there are plenty of parking garages and on-street parking spaces near the venue. The closest garage is the DLCC Parking Garage, though space fills up fast. The Grant Street Transportation Center is a two block/six-minute walk from the DLCC. The Smithfield & Liberty Garage is a four block/eight-minute walk from the DLCC. We recommend using the ParkPGH website or app for real-time parking availability and information.

Handmade Arcade's annual Holiday Market comes alive through Hands-On Handmade Arcade (HOHA), a pop-up craft-lab environment featuring hands-on making, live artistic demonstrations, and interactive experiences hosted by community partners, artists, and creatives from around the region. Handmade Arcade seeks applications from artists and organizations with creative ideas to help our audiences embrace and explore their creativity.

Event Information:

HOHA activities and artistic demonstrations will take place on Saturday, December 5, and Sunday, December 6 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Downtown Pittsburgh during Handmade Arcade's Holiday Market. Activities will occur from 11 AM - 5:30 PM. The Holiday Market typically draws over 10,000 shoppers.

In addition to the in-person benefits of being a HOHA participant, accepted creatives will also be featured in Handmade Arcade's digital marketing. Our digital reach includes 20K+ email subscribers and 30K+ followers across Facebook and Instagram.

Application Deadline: Applications are accepted and decisions will be made on a rolling basis. We recommend applying as soon as possible. Applications submitted by September 1 will be prioritized.
