Founded in 2004, Handmade Arcade is a Pittsburgh-based nonprofit organization providing craft-based artists, designers, and makers with opportunities to sell products, build community, network, and share their artistic practice. Handmade Arcade is a pioneer in Pittsburgh’s flourishing maker movement, catalyzing and transforming the region’s landscape of craft small businesses. Their Holiday Market, which is their flagship event, features 275+ makers and welcomes over 10,000 shoppers every year and is the largest handmade shopping event in the Western Pennsylvania region. Handmade Arcade has connected over 3,000 craft and makers businesses with more than 230,000 shoppers at in-person shopping events over the past two decades.
