Wonder Lab Wednesdays - Growing Up Wild!

This summer, Downtown Duluth comes alive with hands-on learning! From May 28 to July 30, we’re partnering with top Atlanta-area museums and science centers to bring exciting, educational STEM experiences to Parsons Alley. Designed especially for kids ages 5–11 , each Wednesday features a new activity that sparks curiosity and encourages discovery through science, technology, engineering, and math. Sessions at 10:30am and 11:30am. Registration is required. July 23, 2025 - Growing Up Wild with Zoo Atlanta In this engaging learning experience, students will explore how animals change as they grow—from tiny hatchlings to fully grown adults. Some creatures undergo dramatic transformations, while others remain remarkably similar throughout their lives. Through the study of various life cycles, students will uncover the fascinating ways animals grow and develop. They may also get a chance to meet some of Zoo Atlanta's ambassador animals and learn what it really takes for an animal to grow up in the wild. Please note: this is a no-touch experience. Suggested for ages 5-11. Parents must accompany children during this activity.
