ARTISAN CRAFTS APPLICATION

• Winter Farmers Market is located INDOORS at Roane State Community College, 701 Briarcliff Avenue, Oak Ridge, TN 37830
• 15 Weeks on Saturdays, 9 AM to Noon
• December 6, 2025 to March 28, 2026.
• CLOSED Dec. 27, 2025, and Jan 3, 2026. 
• Booths are roughly 6'x8' 
• Fees are $30/week in December, and $17.50 per week January - March. 
• SAVE 20% when you select the "Whole Season Dates" at the bottom of the list, which means your card on file will be charged on Nov. 3 for the entire season, 15 weeks. You only need to select this item, not the other dates. 
• A few spaces are available at a 5% of sales commission rate rather than a flat fee. These are in the side aisle, not the main asile of the market, or outside on the sidewalk or parking lot. Vendors who choose this option will not be advertised ahead of time.

The Winter Farmers Market is for PRODUCERS only.  You must make, bake or grow what you sell. 

Reselling is not allowed. 

This is the PREPARED FOODS application. 

To Apply:

2. Create/Update your profile.
3. Enter ALL the products you wish to sell. 
4. Choose dates. 
5. Upload any certificates/licenses required for your products.
6. Choose payment plan. 
7. Application fee is nonrefundable - If you are not accepted but eligible, you will be placed on a waiting list, and we will call you if we have an opening for your products.

Non-Profit Organizations

Local nonprofits are invited to the Winter Farmers Market as space allows, January through March.

We do not have room for nonprofits in December.  

• Youth groups selling cookings, candy etc., are not allowed at the Winter Farmers Market. 
• Youth groups taking orders for fruit are welcome, January through March. 
• Groups are not allowed to sell food, crafts, soap, woodworking or any other item sold by our hand crafting vendors. 
• Groups MAY offer giveaways, advice, consulting, and book appointments for your nonprofits. 
• You MAY sell tickets to a fundraiser.  
• You must be part of a healthy, local economy. No smoking / vaping / sugary products or alcohol products may be promoted.

Show Off Your Stew - Stew Fest Competition 2026! 

Enter "Stew Fest 2026" - Feb. 7, 2026, 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Meat  | Vegetarian | Vegan - COMPETITION 

• First Prize - $25 in Market Tokens, a Grow Oak Ridge market bag or t-shirt, a hand crafted spoon from Boards & Bowls, and bragging rights for best stew at the market!
• Second Prize - A veggie colander or market bag, and hand crafted spoon from Boards & Bowls!
• Third Prize - A hand crafted spoon from Boards & Bowls!
• Limit 10 entries - Enter Today! ($10)  
• Deadline - Feb. 2, 2026

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bring 1 Gallon of Stew and a Ladle, in a Crock Pot or other warming device that includes one of these vegetables: carrot, sweet potato, potato, rutabaga, radish, horseradish, turnip, or parsnip. We will have electrical outlets you can use for keeping your stew warm. 
• Entries must arrive by 9:45 am on Feb. 7 - Enter through Parking Lot B - Staff entrance. Stew Fest will be just inside the door. 
• Please plan to stay from 10 am - 12 pm to distribute your stew to the public.

JUDGING: 

1. The public (aka Stew Fest tasters) will sample your stew at the market and vote on their top 3 favorites during the Stew Stroll from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. 
2. We will announce the winner with the most votes at the market at 12 PM. 
3. Pick up your cookware anytime between 12:00 PM and 12:15 PM and collect your potential winnings!
