Welcome to LDRC's Wharf Walk Artisan Weekend! This event is for art and fine crafts. Browse through our application and let us know if you have any questions.
This is an electronic agreement and by selecting the booths, you are validating and approving this agreement electronically.
 
LaBelle Downtown Revitalization Corporation (LDRC) invites you to our Annual Wharf Walk Artisan Weekend! 
Saturday, November 12th from 10am to 5pm 
Sunday, November 13th from 11am to 3pm
DeSoto Avenue Wharf & Barron Park in Downtown LaBelle located at 1559 DeSoto Ave, LaBelle, FL 33935
Booth Fees: 
One Day: $30 for a 12x12 space
Saturday & Sunday: $60 for a 12x12 space
Booths may be set up on Friday, November 11th from 4pm to 7pm. The Hendry County Sheriff's Office will patrol the area in an attempt to provide any type of vandalism or theft. 
 
Enjoy live music, cold beer, Las Gorditas Mexican Treats, vendors, lively entertainment, and great artists like you! 
 
But that’s not all! This year we are also going to have a judged art show in Barron Library! Submit the piece of our choice (by category) for a chance at 1st Place, Honorable Mention, or People’s Choice. Artists may apply for one category. 
PRIZES PER CATEGORY:
1st Place will receive $60.
Honorable Mention will receive $30. 
People’s Choice will receive $30. 

Artists may display more than one category in the booth. All work displayed in the booth must be for sale.
 
Examples of accepted art:
Clay: Original clay and porcelain work, functional or sculptural.
Fiber: Includes wearable and non-wearable. No machine-tooled, machine-screen printing, or other forms of mass production are accepted.
Glass: Functional and sculptural work is accepted. Kiln forming, blowing, molding, casting, and all cold working processes are permitted. 
Jewelry: Only those artists accepted in the jewelry category may display or sell jewelry. Items made from commercial parts may not be exhibited.
Metal: Sculptural or decorative work made from metal. No jewelry will be accepted in this category.
Mixed Media: Work which combines materials from two or more mediums in one piece.
Musical Instruments: Handmade instruments.
Natural Materials: This includes basket weaving, chair caning, brooms, gourds, and other works made from materials found in nature.
Photography: Includes traditional film photography, hand-colored images, emulsion transfers, and digital photography. Only the artist’s original source material is acceptable. 
Printmaking: Only hand-pulled original prints are allowed. Prints must be in limited editions, signed, and numbered.
Sculpture: Three-dimensional work using additive or subtractive processes in a single medium.
Two-Dimensional: Drawing, painting, and digital works. Reproduction prints are not allowed.
Wood: Original works that are hand-tooled, machine worked, turned, or carved.
Other forms: Clothing, Leather, Painting
 
JUDGED ART SHOW:
This art show will be held in Barron Library. Artwork must be submitted no later than 2 weeks prior to Wharf Walk. That means that the deadline to submit your art for judging is October 31st. People's Choice and judging awards will be tallied on Saturday and Sunday. Final announces for the winners will be announced at Wharf Walk at the Barron Park Gazebo at 2pm on Sunday. People's Choice will end at 1:00pm on Sunday to allow time for LDRC volunteers to tally the votes. 
Official judges will be announced closer to the event weekend. 
Artwork may be dropped off prior to Saturday, November 12th at Barron Library. Please communicate the date you would like to drop off your artwork with our Executive Director, Kelly Boone. She can be reached at 863-225-2749 (text or call) or email at kelly@downtownlabelle.com.

We are in need of volunteers to help with our arts and craft area. This will be a fun day helping kids (and adults) try their hand at simple art projects. We will need you to: Describe the craft Offer assistance Direct them to different stations Make sure they have paid for the craft area Clean up Make sure stations are tidy and ready for the next person And more!
