About the application

IMPORTANT: 10X10 booth INCLUDES: 1 tent, 1 table, 2 chairs, and we cover the health department permit fees. 10X20 booth INCLUDES: 1 tent, 2 tables, 4 chairs, and we cover the health department permit fees. Note: Saturday, August 24, 2019 is set-up time. Food inspector will show up on Saturday, August 25, 2019 at 9:00 AM sharp. SPECIAL RULES FOR COOKING, ALL VENDORS MUST HAVE: 1- TWO TENTS 10X10FT EACH (ONE IN THE FRONT FOR SERVING AND ONE IN THE BACK FOR COOKING) 2- BOTH TENTS MUST BE TOTALLY SCREENED AND ENCLOSED ON ALL SIDES. 3- HAND WASH SINK OR APPROVED ALTERNATIVE: A CONTAINER THAT HAS BEEN FILLED WITH HOT WATER AND A LARGE (5 GALLON) CATCH BUCKET UNDERNEATH WHICH CAN BE USED IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A SINK. 4- DISH WASH SINKS OR APPROVED ALTERNATIVE WITH DISH SOAP & BLEACH – 3 PLASTIC DISH TUBS SET UP ON THE TABLE CAN BE USED IF YOU DO NOT HAVE SINKS. 5- PREPARATION TABLES & LARGE GARBAGE CANS WITH A SUPPLY OF TRASH BAGS. 6- MUST HAVE MEANS OF KEEPING ALL PRODUCTS OFF THE GROUND 7- A FIRE EXTINGUISHER THAT HAS BEEN APPROVED BY THE FIRE MARSHALL (STANDARD) 8- MUST HAVE MECHANICAL REFRIGERATORS AND/OR FREEZERS FOR MEATS AND CUT FRUIT; OR A COOLER WITH PLENTY OF ICE. 9- MUST HAVE WARMING UNITS TO HOLD FOOD AT 140 DEGREE FAHRENHEIT OR ABOVE CONTINUOUSLY AFTER THE FOOD HAS BEEN COOKED. NO FOODS CAN HANDED TO THE CUSTOMER DIRECTLY FROM THE GRILL – FOOD DISPENSING MUST TAKE PLACE FROM INSIDE THE SERVING TENT ONLY. 10- ALL FOODS MUST BE COOKED AT 145 DEGREE FAHRENHEIT; HOWEVER POULTRY MUST BE COOKED AT 155 DEGREE FAHRENHEIT. 11- ALL COLD FOODS MUST BE HELD AT 41 DEGREE FAHRENHEIT OR BELOW. 12- FESTIVAL PEACHTREE LATINO, INC WILL COMMUNICATE WHICH SODAS AND WATER WILL BE AUTHORIZED FOR SALE AT THE FESTIVAL. IMPORTANT NOTE: ALL VENDORS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL ABOVE REQUIREMENTS. FESTIVAL PEACHTREE LATINO, INC RESERVES THE RIGHT OF ADMISSION OF ANY FOOD VENDOR.

Terms & Conditions

RULES AND REGULATIONS Parking: 1) There is limited parking available during the event. 2) There is no RV parking allowed on the event site. Grease / Trash / Water 1) A¬ll food vendors are expected to provide ground cover inside their booth for the absorption of grease. 2) No food vendor will be allowed to open for business (or stay in business during the weekend) if this ground cover is not in place. 3) Grease absorbent mats are best. No grease or gray water is to be poured onto the ground or down any drains. Any¬one found doing this will be asked to leave the event and your deposit will be fortified, each vendor will be responsible for any and all environmental clean up cost, and subject to any prosecution brought by the Festival Peachtree Latino or venue. * Water will be provided by Festival Peachtree Latino. Electricity: 1) Will be provided Festival Peachtree Latino (110V) 2) Each food vendor agrees to use the electrical power on site and must have their own extension cords. Generators are good. 3) The electrical connections are subject to requirement codes. Propane Usage: 1) The use of propane is at the complete risk and responsibility of the food vendor. 2) Compliance with all state and local laws, ordinances, and fire code provisions are the sole responsibility of the food vendor and the use of propane shall be subject to inspection by Health Dept. and Festival Peachtree Latino, Inc., and any other lawful regulatory agency having a lawful interest in the safe utilization, storage, and disposal of such materials. 3) Failure to comply with any law, ordinance, fire code provision, or any instruction by the Health Department could result in cancellation of your permit. 4) Festival Peachtree Latino, Inc. is not responsible and each food vendor hereby waives any and all damage claim as a result of such cancellation for failure to comply with the instructions contained herein. 5) Cooking equipment should be kept in the back of the booth. Additional Food Rules: 1) Keep cooked and raw food separate at all times. 2) Food vendors should use disposable utensils (plastic or paper) to serve the public and must keep their hands clean at all times. 3) Each vendor must observe adequate hygiene during the preparation of the meals. (Use soap, water, paper towels, disposable gloves, etc…) 4) Cooking equipment should be kept at the back of the booth. No cooking will be allowed under tented areas or canopies and all flammable substances are to be placed far from the heat and fire. 5) Electrical connections (including extension cords) are subject to code requirements. All extension cords must be secured in a safe manner to avoid a hazard to the public. 6) No glass or metal containers are allowed for serving foods or beverages, only paper or plastic containers. 7) All stands or tables supporting cooking facilities must be of sturdy construction to prevent any accidental knocking over by any of the public or vendors. 8) All vendors must bag their trash (except fuel or coals) in durable plastic containers and must secure them properly to avoid spillage or breakage. Non Compliance with any of the above regulations may result in revocation of the vendor’s license and closing of the booth. License: 1) Display state license in a visible place at the booth at all times. Ice: 1) Ice is available for cash and carry on site. 2) The ice used to keep the raw meat cold cannot be used for beverages; however it is necessary to use plenty of ice to keep the raw meat cold before cooking. Drinks: 1) Food vendors are allowed to sell sodas and water as long as they are purchased from Festival Peachtree Latino. Sodas and water are PROHIBITED to be brought to the event. 2) Any food vendor found selling soda or water not purchased from Festival Peachtree Latino will be asked to vacate the park and there will be no refunds issued. Signs/Banners/Cart Materials: 1) Shall be made of a flame retardant material and proof of such fire retardant rating shall be made available to the Fire Marshall upon request. 2) Failure to have such fire retardant rating information available could result in the immediate closure of the food vendor’s operation until such information is satisfactory provided. 3) Any loses or damages by food vendor are hereby waived against Festival Peachtree Latino, Inc. for failure to have such information readily available for inspection by the Fire Marshall. Insurance: 1) The Hispanic Marketing Group, Inc and Festival Peachtree Latino, Inc. are not liable for any damages, claim, liabilities, and losses arising from or related to a booth. Acceptance: 1) The health department inspection for each vendor booth will be the on August 25 in the morning, about 9:00am. 2) Each food vendor will be given a permit from the Health Dept. 3) Each application MUST be submitted at least 60 days before the event. These are date very sensitive so watch for deadlines and requirements. 4) All payments and required documents must be returned and received by Festival Peachtree Latino, Inc. in order to be considered complete. Failure to provide any payment, deposit, required document, or the performance of any required document, or the performance of any required activity or inspection shall result in the termination of any offer to participate in the event and food vendor shall forfeit any amounts paid. 5) Vendor food fees are due with the return of this application. Payments: 1) Payments will be made online through Eventeny. 2) Any vendor paying late will be charged $130.00 and will placed on a waiting list. 3) Prices will go up by an additional 5% after March 31st, 2019. 4) NO refunds or pro-rated refunds shall be made whatsoever. Additional Services Fees: 1) An additional service fee will be required for any special request. (IE…tents, tables, chairs, electricity, telephone lines, etc.) See the first page for more details & prices. Taxes: 1) Food Vendors are responsible for the collection, reporting, and payment of the Georgia 7% Sales Tax. 2) For more information please call the Georgia Department Of Revenue at: 404-651-8651 Cancellation Policy: 1) No refunds will be given for any cancellation by Festival Peachtree Latino, Inc. 2) Festival Peachtree Latino, Inc. is not responsible for any losses as a result of vendor purchasing merchandise, products or services before any of our events. 3) Festival Peachtree Latino, Inc. Reserves the Right of admission of any food vendor. Confidential: 1) All information/contract, prices and contract negotiation are considered confidential and any disclosure to any third party constitutes grounds of voiding the contract for the event. 2) Note: Because of the fragile nature of the environmental well being of Festival Peachtree Latino, Festival Peachtree Latino, Inc. is obligated to protect the infrastructure and well being of the park grounds; thus, in any event, including simple rain, that in the opinion of the Executive Director of Festival Peachtree Latino , Inc. increases the risk of the safety of patrons and/or the environmental integrity and well being of Piedmont Park shall cause the temporary and/or permanent cancellation of the event , NO refunds or pro-rated refunds shall be made whatsoever. Ground Information: 1) Each vendor will receive a permit to gain entrance to their assigned space. This permit may not be sold, assigned, or transferred to anyone. Type of Event: Multicultural & Global Event Category – A + Entrance - Free By submitting and as an authorized representative, I have received, read and understood the preliminary information contained in this application and agree to its terms and provisions. I understand and agree that the submission of this application is not a guarantee of or an invitation to participate in Festival Peachtree Latino, Inc. The information provided in this application to Festival Peachtree Latino, Inc. is true and correct at the time of submission to Festival Peachtree Latino, Inc. and I understand any invitation to participate may be revoked in the event of any failure to truthfully or accurately answer the questions contained here in. I understand that the preliminary terms contained in this agreement are subject to change at any time and could change after the execution of the final contract. I agree to cooperate and abide by those terms in advance or be subject to the revocation of the invitation at which time I WILL NOT be eligible for any refund. Confirmation: I hereby certify that the information contained in this application is true and correct; I have read the rules, regulations and agree to comply with them and their enforcement.
