UwU Con is proud to present a NEW section of our Cosplay Alley. This year we are opening applications for a special "Cosplay Round Table". What is the Round Table? Much like that of lore, it is a space for subject matter experts to demonstrate their cosplay skills to attendees over a 3 hour period. We will have 3 spots open daily for applicants to fill.
General Information
- The applicant must be a cosplayer/costumer who can demonstrate a skill over a 2 hour period.
- The demonstration should exhibit one of the following skillsets: sewing, prop making, sculpting, mold making, wig sculpting/styling, beauty makeup, SFX makeup, upcycling clothing, pattern drafting, etc.
- The demonstration must be easily setup and torn down. You will have 30 minutes to setup your table, 2 hours to present your selected skill(s) and 30 minutes to tear down/pack up your demonstration.
- The demonstration MUST be cleanly. If you have a skill that may produce a mess please bring a drop cloth and/or plastic sheet to protect the table.
- Your demonstration must be interactive and/or have something that fans can interact with/explore.
- You will be promoted on the UwU Con website as a special guests along with the time you will be appearing.
- You must be able to bring your demo materials in using a suitcase, duffel bag or oversized bag; UwU Con will not have a separate entrance for presenters. CosTalk LIVE will provide Security and Badge Pickup with your name so you can easily pass through and make your way to Cosplay Alley.
- A table will be setup directly inside Cosplay Alley with the title "Cosplay Round Table" atop or in front of it. You are welcome to bring your own pop up banners and/or signage to promote your brand.
- Cosplay Round Table Presenters can accept tips however; you are not permitted to sell items during your 2 hour time slot. We hope to accommodate more space for this in the future. Participating as a Round Table Presenter will earn you a Full Event Badge.

It's a new year, we're at a new venue so we are hosting a new showcase! This year, the Cosplay Showcase will be divided into 2 categories: Craftsman and Performance.
Craftsman
- ALL levels are welcome (Novice, Intermediate, Journeyman, Advanced, Master and beyond).
- Costumes must be 75% handmade and they MUST be completed at the time of submission.
- Craftsman must provide a link to a shared drive that has 10 photos of their WIP and at least 1 video of themself working on the costume. This media will be used to create a custom video which will be played during their walk on.
- Craftsman will walk the stage for 30 seconds, posing and showing off their costumes before seating themself next to the MC who will ask 3-5 questions about their cosplay and themself.
Performance
- All skits/performances must have 2 or more people (maximum of 8 performers on stage).
- Performers can wear costumes that are made or bought.
- Music for the performance MUST be ready at time of application as it will be reviewed by UwU Con Cosplay & Panel Programming staff.
- Performers will have up to 3 minutes on stage before they are taken aside and asked 2-3 questions about what went into preparing their performance.
IMPORTANT: The showcase is NOT a judged competition. Participants will have the option to request feedback from the CosTalk LIVE leaders who have partnered with UwU Con to host and manage this event. Feedback will be delivered privately via email and CTL is open to meeting via a virtual discussion for any questions. UwU's goal for the showcase this year is to celebrate local crafters and performers without the pressure of meeting judging criteria.
Each entry will receive a goody bag thanking them for participating in the UwU Con 2025 Showcase.
UwU Con welcomes media outlets from Phoenix, AZ, and around the world, and we’re happy to provide approved members of the media with complimentary Media badges. The Media badge application for 2025 is now accepting applicants.
