Steppin' Out features over 200 artists and crafts people from around the United States selling unique handcrafted items – jewelry, pottery, textiles, metal work, basketry, stained & fused glass, fine art, furniture, toys, artisan foods and so much more!
Attendees can visit with our sponsors and also local non-profits at their booths, learning more about these Steppin' Out partners.
Downtown Blacksburg merchants also hold their much-awaited final clearance sidewalk sales during Steppin' Out. The festival foods you love are provided by downtown restaurants.

Parking instructions
On-street parking in downtown is free during the festival. Or ride the free shuttle provided by Blacksburg Transit from the upper Chicken Hill Lot on Virginia Tech’s campus. PARK IN THE UPPER LOT OF CHICKEN HILL.
The shuttle will drop off and pick up at the corner of Washington Street and Draper Road and will run every 15 minutes from 9:30 am to 10:30 pm.
There is also parking in Midtown Garage, Kent Square Garage, Squires VT Lot (Saturday only). Find additional parking information here: bit.ly/3SoW78P
