About the event

Steppin' Out features over 200 artists and crafts people from around the United States selling unique handcrafted items – jewelry, pottery, textiles, metal work, basketry, stained & fused glass, fine art, furniture, toys, artisan foods and so much more! Attendees can visit with our sponsors and also local non-profits at their booths, learning more about these Steppin' Out partners. Downtown Blacksburg merchants also hold their much-awaited final clearance sidewalk sales during Steppin' Out. The festival foods you love are provided by downtown restaurants.

Welcome to the 44th annual Steppin' Out! Two days of fun, music, and craft vendors in Downtown Blacksburg. We need your help to make this event a success. Please sign up for a volunteer shift. Each volunteer gets a free Steppin' Out t-shirt. Be sure to share with your friends!

Beer Pourers, ID/Ticket Station, and Enter and Exit Checkers must be 21 years of age or older.
