All dance groups wishing to be considered for a performance slot must complete this submission form. Music is Art will supply a changing area for performers, a performance area, and a sound system. Performers are responsible for the security of their individual props, costumes, etc. Performers leaving materials in the changing area do so at their risk.

We are now accepting Kids Village submissions for the 23rd Annual Music is Art festival being held September 20th, 2025 at Buffalo's Outer Harbor! The Kids Village will be open from 11am to approximately 6pm.
We are looking for organizations to do interactive activities or a 15-30 minute on-stage performance. Please be sure to indicate which you are interested in.

THE BATTLE starts now!
The Music is Art event formerly known as "The Battle of the High School Bands" is back as simply, "THE BATTLE." Submissions are now open! Please read through the rules and restrictions below and fill out the form to submit for consideration.
- Open to WNY acts where the majority of its members are 21 and under.
- Proof will be required before you make it to the final round.
- Any solo acts, duos, or full bands may apply.
- All genres are accepted and encouraged to apply.
A committee of judges will determine which acts make it to the event on Saturday, September 20th at The Music is Art Festival. The finalists will be provided a scoring rubric in advance so that you know what goes into the final decision. Feedback from judges will be provided after the event so that you know where to work on improving.
Bands, solo acts, and duos are encouraged to apply for not only THE BATTLE, but for the Festival itself as well, as different committees look at the events separately. Links to apply can be found on our website at www.musicisart.org
The grand prize at the September 20th event is a main stage slot later that day, recording time at GCR Audio, mixing and mastering of one song, and a professional photo shoot.
