MomoCon 2027

MomoCon 2027 will take place Thursday May 27th to Sunday May 30th. The MomoCon 2027 Exhibit Hall is situated in Hall B at the GWCC. Each standard booth measures 10ft x 10ft (100 sq ft) and comes equipped with a 6ft x 2ft table, 2 chairs, a wastebasket, and 2 exhibitor badges.

Eligibility Criteria for Industry Space:

• Applicants must be the principal distributor or manufacturer of the items on sale. This excludes the majority of resellers. 
• License holders can display and sell products from third-party entities that utilize their intellectual property.
• No unlicensed reproductions, such as fan art, are allowed. 
• Presence in this space mandates marketing that specifically targets and resonates with the fandom audience.

Pricing Structure:

The rate for Industry booth spaces in the Exhibit Hall is $20 per sq ft (e.g., a 10x10 space would be $2,000), exclusive of Eventeny fees.
Booths spanning 600 sq ft (20x30) are priced at $18 per sq ft, 1000 sq ft (20x50) $16 per sq ft, 1500 sq ft (30x50) $14 per sq ft, 2000 sq ft (40x50) $12 per sq ft, and 2500 sq ft (50x50) or more $10 per sq ft. Larger booths are also eligible for Tuesday load in, by request with approval.

Placement Note: Booth positioning will be prioritized in part by the timing of your application. Thus, earlier applicants, especially those with larger booths, will benefit from better placement and enhanced visibility. Booth placement will not be finalized until April 2027.  

Utilities and Services Overview:

Facility Information: The GWCC operates as a non-union facility but collaborates with specific service partners for certain amenities.

General Service Contractor - Shepard: Shepard is our appointed service contractor.
They offer rigging services and booth equipment rental. Only Shepard is allowed to operate a forklift and handle deliveries from the dock. Material handling fees would apply.
You have the option to bring and set up your own booth with your own outside labor, Shepard can assist if needed. Vehicles are allowed to enter the exhibit floor during setup, utilizing inside delivery will avoid material handling fees under most circumstances.

For inside deliveries without incurring drayage/material handling fees, please contact us in advance.

Utilities:Power and water line services are facilitated by Edlen.
CCLD is responsible for providing internet access within the facility.
Food services are provided through Levy. 

Hotels: MomoCon has contracted lowest rate options at all nearby hotels. We have limited availability set aside for industry exhibitors. Please contact us after being approved for your application for the exhibitor housing block link.

Returning to MomoCon 2027: Through our partnership with Wonder Festival, MomoCon will welcome figure manufacturers, collectible brands, and independent creators. Vendors selling figures and collectibles should be aware that manufacturers of products they carry may also exhibit at the event. These badges not only grant early access to the Exhibit Hall but also provide full access to the main MomoCon events. 

Pricing Structure:

• The rate for Indie Game booth spaces in the Exhibit Hall is $900 per 10 x 10. This is exclusive of Eventeny fees.
• If your booth does not require power, we will provide a discount of $100. 

The Indie Game booth represents a special discount over our standard booths. Situated at the primary entrance and exit of the Exhibit Hall, these booths promise heightened visibility. Notably:

• Every booth in this section boasts at least one corner location.
• Booths include access to 5 amps power, and wifi which are normally an additional cost.

Eligibility Criteria for Indie Gaming Space:

• Must be primarily promoting a video game, or tabletop game.
• Any sales at the booth must be related to the game.
• To qualify as an indie game you cannot be financially supported by a large publisher (e.g. Nintendo, Microsoft, Sony, Ubisoft). However these groups can apply as Industry.

Indie Games Showcase and Steam Sale:

MomoCon will submit a list of all game titles who are exhibiting, as well as select partner titles, to Valve for a Steam Sale. You must have a game on Steam, and we must submit AppIDs and Steam URLs to be considered. This means taking 3 months for approvals. This does not guarantee we will be approved for an official Steam Sale, but we will be trying. This means our timeline for accepting indie games is shorter, meaning we will finalize our indie game titles by January 16th. We will allow applications after this time, but not for the Steam Sale inclusion.

We will once again host an indie game awards event, which will do floor judging. The winning games will recieve an award, recognition, digital award badge for optional inclusion in promo materials, and the option for a comped 10x10 booth for MomoCon 2028. Additional details on the judging process will be shared closer to the event.

Wonder Festival US 2027 will take place May 27-30, 2027 at Georgia World Congress Center, Atlanta, Georgia as part of MomoCon.

This is the only creator application. There is no separate original-work application and no separate licensing application.

Use this application if you are an independent creator, creator collective, or small creator-owned studio. You may apply with original or self-owned work, public-domain work, work covered by a direct written license you already hold, products that may need a Wonder Festival US one-event license, or a combination of these categories.

Early in the application, you will be asked whether any product requires Wonder Festival US to contact a rights holder. Read the choices carefully:

Choose “No” only if every product is original or self-owned, based on public-domain material, or covered by written commercial permission that you already hold and can document.

Choose “Yes or I am not sure” if any product uses a character, title, logo, costume, design, or other intellectual property you do not own and do not already have written permission to display or sell at Wonder Festival US 2027. This answer will reveal the one-event licensing section.

Display-only fan work may still require permission. Approval at a previous event, permission for a different product, fan-made status, or seeing similar products sold elsewhere does not automatically authorize your product at Wonder Festival US 2027. If you are uncertain, choose “Yes or I am not sure” so WFUS can review the request with you.

What happens if the licensing section appears:

• You will answer a short set of licensing and fallback questions.
• You will complete one application for each separately sold or displayed product.
• WFUS will review each request for completeness and determine whether a rights-holder review path is available.
• The relevant rights holder, not WFUS, makes the final product decision.

An approved one-event license is limited to the approved product, character or title, price, quantity, use, event, location, and written conditions. For WFUS 2027, the event period is all four public event days, May 27-30, 2027. It is not a general commercial license and does not authorize online sales, pre-event sales, post-event sales, additional production, or use at another event unless the approval expressly says otherwise.

Booth acceptance and product-license approval are separate decisions. Do not begin commercial production based on application submission, completeness review, or an initial availability response. Approval is not guaranteed, and a rights holder may require royalties or fees, quantity limits, samples, copyright credits, seals, packaging changes, sales reporting, or other conditions.

Wonder Festival US centers sculptors, garage-kit makers, figure painters, modelers, toy and sofubi creators, doll and action-figure customizers, miniature artists, and other creators working primarily in three dimensions. First-time exhibitors are welcome.

Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance or a particular location. Space, pricing, payment dates, included furnishings, parking and freight guidance, the licensing fallback policy, and shared-booth rules will be published before payment.

Use this application if you are applying on behalf of an IP owner or licensor, manufacturer, publisher or studio, authorized distributor or retailer, tools or materials supplier, or another company aligned with figure, model, toy, garage-kit, doll, miniature, or three-dimensional creator culture.

This application is not for independent creators. Independent creators should use the Independent Creator Application, which includes conditional one-event licensing questions when needed.

Submitting this application does not guarantee acceptance, a particular location, a particular booth configuration, or sponsorship benefits.

 Applicants must be authorized to display and sell every brand and product listed.

Pricing for booth spaces in the Exhibit Hall is as follows:

• Standard booth: $1150, $1222.45 after Eventeny fees
• Standard booth (corner location): $1250, $1328.75 after Eventeny fees
• Premium location: $1250, $1328.75 after Eventeny fees
• Premium corner location: $1450, $1541.35 after Eventeny fees

Applications and booth selection: Approved vendors will have the opportunity to select their booth locations, with payment required at the time of selection. Application updates and booth selection instructions will be sent through Eventeny.

Please note: Vendors will be accepted in waves, with additional vendor space released after the initial acceptance wave.
