Special Event Application at The Farmers Market

About the event

This event provides the opportunity for community organizations, businesses, or entities to rent the Kalamazoo Farmers Market. Rental of the facility is for the entire space that includes the farmers market building/restrooms, booth stalls, coverings, courtyard, play area, and parking lot. The facility is perfect for craft shows, village markets, or even a special event. Please note that the Don Cooney Cultivation Center building is not included in this rental option. The rental application is designed to help you communicate your event use needs so that the team can help you design an event that uses the site and helps ensure that your event is situated for success. The application is not designed to answer all the question and so part of the rental process is a walk through meeting, determining capacity to manage the site, and support of the requirements of vendors who use the facility. This is a rental application for the rental of the Don Cooney Cultivation Center at the Kalamazoo Farmers Market. The Don Cooney Cultivation Center is a multi-purpose building on the Kalamazoo Farmers Market property. You can rent the DCCC, the outdoor Farmers Market pavilions, or both. This application contains the information about renting the indoor facility, the DCCC. Rental prices are determined based on your event needs, which you can submit in your application.

The rental application is designed to provide the information required to determine if the DCCC space is supportive of the event mission and space design. It is important that the information requested is completed so that a decision can be made efficiently. Terms & Conditions

By applying to and participating in the Kalamazoo Farmers Market, vendors agree to comply with all rules, policies, and procedures established by Gamsho Group. 1. Compliance and Licensing. Participating vendors of the host organization are responsible for complying with all applicable city, county, state, and federal regulations. All required licenses, permits, and certifications must be valid and submitted upon request. Vendors must ensure their products meet all food safety and labeling requirements. 2. Event Rentals. Booths must operate within their assigned space and maintain a clean, safe, and professional setup. Tents must be properly weighted, and all displays must comply with market safety standards. 3. Prohibited Activities. Subletting the Kalamazoo Farmers Market space, misrepresenting the event mission as outlined in the application, or engaging in disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate removal from the market. 4. Liability; Insurance. Renters assume full responsibility for their event, products, equipment, and operations. Gamsho Group and The City of Kalamazoo and its partners are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury. Renters are required to carry personal insurance for general and product liability. Gamsho Group LLC carries its own general liability policy. 5. Enforcement Failure to comply with these Terms & Conditions may result in warnings, fines, suspension, or permanent removal from the market at the discretion of Market Management.
