About the application
This is a rental application for the rental of the Kalamazoo Farmers Market. This application is for the Kalamazoo Farmers Market not the Don Cooney Cultivation Center. The rental application is designed to provide the information required to determine if the Kalamazoo Farmers Market space is supportive of the event mission and space design.
It is important that the information requested is completed so that a decision can be made efficiently. Understanding the event mission, event design, an event outline, and a proposed map of the event design. If you have an event fact sheet (the event details, the who, the what, and the when) that will help for a quicker decision.
Any supporting materials including flyers, brochures, or pictures from previous events would support the application request. Previous event experience is required and references are encouraged.
About the event
Terms & Conditions
The following terms and conditions are as follows:
· Licensee must submit a completed event application.
- Event map required for each of the events
- Any vendors agree to provide certificates and Kalamazoo County Health Department Certifications
- Licensee is required to provide the food operator businesses 1 week prior to the event to determine both Fire Marshal and Kalamazoo County Health Department certifications and approvals.
- Licensee agrees to all Kalamazoo Farmers Market rules and regulations.
- 50% deposit required to reserve date.
- Balance due 14 days prior to event.
- Failure to pay will result in cancellation.
- Certificate of Insurance required prior to event.
The rental rates depend on a number of factors that are outlined in the application. Pricing ranges from a minimum of $1,500 to up to $5,000 a day. For specific esimtates on pricing, please call 269-388-2830 to inquire. It is recommended that applications, event fact sheets, and maps are submitted for a better estimate on rental pricing.
Rental instructions and event day expectations are outlined based on the application and the event requirements. A site supervisor will check in events, open required event support systems, and be on call during the event for site needs. The event rental coordinator teams are required to mantain a clean site, manage garbage, recycling, and security and safety of the site. The site supervisor will coordinate with the event team to check the site and lock the facility, but might not be on site during the event.

- Cleaning Fee: $200–$500

Insurance Requirements are as follows;
Licensee must provide $1,000,000 per occurrence / $2,000,000 aggregate coverage.
Additional Insured: Gamsho Group LLC and the City of Kalamazoo, including all elected and appointed officials, employees, volunteers, boards, commissions, and authorities.
Licensee agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Gamsho Group LLC and the City of Kalamazoo from all claims and liabilities.
