Attendee Terms & Conditions
By attending the Katy Rice Harvest Festival (“Festival”), you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms are established to ensure a safe, enjoyable experience for all guests, vendors, volunteers, and staff.
1. Admission & Entry
Admission policies, hours, and activities are subject to change without notice.
Festival organizers reserve the right to deny entry or remove any individual whose behavior is deemed unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate, without refund.
Re-entry policies may vary and are subject to on-site guidelines.
2. Safety & Conduct
All attendees must comply with instructions from Festival staff, volunteers, security personnel, and law enforcement.
Disorderly conduct, harassment, fighting, or illegal activity will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the event.
Weapons of any kind, illegal substances, and prohibited items are strictly forbidden.
3. Alcohol Consumption
Alcohol is available only to guests of legal drinking age with valid identification.
Guests consuming alcohol must do so responsibly. Intoxicated individuals may be denied service or removed from the Festival for safety reasons.
Alcohol purchased at the Festival may not be taken outside designated areas.
4. Children & Supervision
Children must be supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times.
The Festival is not responsible for lost or unattended children.
Family-friendly zones, including the toddler area and carnival, must be used in accordance with posted safety guidelines.
5. Weather & Event Changes
The Festival is a rain-or-shine event.
Schedules, entertainment, activities, and layouts are subject to change due to weather, safety concerns, or operational needs.
No refunds will be issued due to weather conditions or program changes.
6. Photography, Video & Media Release
By entering the Festival grounds, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded.
The City of Katy, Festival organizers, and partners may use images or recordings for promotional, marketing, or archival purposes without compensation.
Attendees waive any rights to inspect or approve such materials.
7. Liability Waiver
Attendance at the Festival is voluntary and at your own risk.
The City of Katy, the Rotary Club of Katy, event organizers, sponsors, vendors, volunteers, and partners are not responsible for personal injury, loss, theft, or damage to personal property.
Attendees assume all risks associated with participation in Festival activities, including rides, attractions, and interactive areas.
8. Carnival Rides & Attractions
Carnival rides and attractions are operated by third-party providers.
Ride participation is subject to height, age, weight, and safety restrictions.
Attendees agree to follow all posted rules and operator instructions.
9. Animals
Only service animals as defined by the ADA are permitted on Festival grounds.
Emotional support animals and pets are not allowed for safety reasons.
10. Prohibited Items
The following items are not permitted:
Weapons of any kind
Illegal drugs or substances
Outside alcohol
Fireworks
Drones or unmanned aerial devices
Coolers (unless medically necessary)
Any item deemed unsafe by Festival officials
11. Parking & Transportation
Parking and shuttle services are provided as a convenience.
The Festival is not responsible for damage, theft, or incidents occurring in parking areas or on shuttle transportation.
Attendees using rideshare services do so at their own discretion.
12. Assumption of Risk
By attending the Festival, you acknowledge that large public events carry inherent risks, including but not limited to crowds, noise, uneven surfaces, weather exposure, and physical activity.
13. Agreement to Terms
Entry into the Festival constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. Failure to comply may result in removal from the event.
