About the application
This application is specifically for food vendors operating from food trucks or tents, cooking food on-site. If you're selling prepackaged items, you'll fall under the category of Art & Craft Vendor. Please note that obtaining Harris County Food Permit is MANDATORY. Submitting an application does not automatically reserve a booth space. Approval is required first, after which you'll have the opportunity to secure your booth space by making payment before the August 14, 2026. Failure to make payment by the deadline will result in your booth space being allocated to the next applicant in line.
About the event
Terms & Conditions
The City of Katy absolves itself of any responsibility for statements, actions, omissions, or claims made by exhibitors regarding their marketing efforts and booth activities.
VENDOR LOAD IN: All vendors MUST be loaded in by Friday, October 9th by 8pm to participate. There will be NO load in Saturday morning. If vendors are not on site loading in by the date and time listed above, they will forfeit all paid fees and the right to participate in the festival.
EXHIBIT SPACE: Each FOOD VENDOR exhibit space measures 10 feet deep by 20 feet wide. No electricity is provided.
Food vendors requiring power must supply their own generator (only quiet generators permitted).
Food vendors using a truck and trailer setup must disconnect their vehicle and park outside festival boundaries.
All work and personal belongings, including tables, chairs, and boxes, must remain within the assigned space.
Exhibitors must bring their own canopy, securely weighted and fastened against wind gusts and weather conditions.
Attendees should bring their own drinks and snacks or utilize the available food vendors and drink booths.
Unoccupied booth spaces by 8pm on October 9th before the event or non-compliance with the agreement terms will result in the space being reassigned without refunds.
EVENT POSTPONEMENT OR CANCELLATION: The City of Katy is not liable for damages or expenses incurred by exhibitors due to the unavailability, delay, interruption, or cancellation of rented space beyond its control.
Refunds, if applicable, will be issued after deducting expenses already incurred by the City.
Vendor Cancellation: Vendors have until August 31st, 2025 to cancel. Anything after August 31st will receive no refunds for cancellations.
SPACE SHARING AND DISPLAY POLICIES: Exhibitors may share or assign their allotted spaces with written consent from the festival producer.
Only items specified in agreements may be displayed.
DEADLINE: Vendors must complete and submit signed contracts and payment by the specified date to ensure participation.
EXCLUSIONS FROM EVENT: The City of Katy reserves the right to determine the suitability of exhibitor products, services, or activities. Exhibitors must comply with event standards; failure to do so may result in exclusion or modification of displays.
POLICIES AND PROCEDURES: All booth renters are bound by the City of Katy's policies and procedures, as well as relevant fire, utility, and building codes. Any violation of policies may result in ejection without refund.
FACILITY RESTRICTIONS: Vehicles may only enter the festival for loading/unloading; no additional vehicles allowed.
No drilling, nailing, or affixing items to property; exhibitors are responsible for any damage caused.
Compliance with fire and safety regulations, including restrictions on combustible items, is mandatory.
Water use must be coordinated with the City of Katy before August 14th, 2026.
Alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
Food giveaways require prior approval and compliance with health regulations.
Extension cords must be safely covered and secured.
EVENT CANCELLATION: If there is a 60% chance of rain, the event will be canceled; participants will be notified via email, text, and social media.
By completing this application, you acknowledge understanding and acceptance of all listed policies and procedures and agree to ensure compliance among all involved parties.
