About the application

This application is intended for Art & Craft vendors specializing in handmade items such as Jewelry, Home Décor, Health & Beauty Products, Wooden Signs, furniture, and more.  Additionally, it is open to food vendors operating under the Cottage Law, selling pre-packaged goods such as baked items, jams, sauces, spices, etc.   Please note that submission of an application does not guarantee booth space. Approval is required first, after which you may secure your booth space with payment before the August 14, 2026, deadline. Failure to make payment by the deadline will result in the release of your booth space to the next applicant in line.  

About the event

The City of Katy is proud to present the Katy Rice Harvest Festival 2026, a vibrant celebration of our city’s rich agricultural roots, history, and community spirit! Join us for a full weekend of family-friendly fun at the newly redesigned Historic Town Square in front of Katy City Hall. This beloved annual event benefits the Rotary Club of Katy, with 100% of net proceeds reinvested directly into the Katy community through scholarships, nonprofit organizations, and local charities. Friday will be dedicated to vendor load-in, volunteer meetings, and operational run-throughs to ensure a seamless festival weekend. The festival officially kicks off Saturday from 10:00 AM–10:00 PM and continues Sunday from 12:00 PM–6:00 PM. Across two exciting days, guests can explore 100+ vendor booths featuring unique handcrafted goods, enjoy mouthwatering bites from food trucks, and take in live music throughout the weekend. The carnival returns, along with a lively beer garden, main-stage entertainment, and plenty of space to dance the night away. Families will love the Agriculture Adventure Area, interactive exhibits, and dedicated toddler zone—truly something for every age. This newly reimagined festival creates the perfect opportunity to discover new shops, revisit old favorites, savor delicious food, and build meaningful connections within Katy’s thriving community. Parking is easier than ever, with improved routes, expanded parking options, and free shuttle service to and from the Merrell Center throughout the festival. Rideshare is also encouraged, with exclusive discounts available for those who choose to ride with our partners. Terms & Conditions

The City of Katy disclaims any responsibility for statements, actions, omissions, or claims made by exhibitors regarding their marketing efforts and booth activities.

 

VENDOR LOAD IN: All vendors MUST be loaded in by Friday, October 9th by 8pm to participate. There will be NO load in Saturday morning. If vendors are not on site loading in by the date and time listed above, they will forfeit all paid fees and the right to participate in the festival.  

 

EXHIBIT SPACE: Each exhibit space measures 10 feet deep by 10 feet wide. Electricity is not provided.
All work and personal belongings, such as tables, chairs, and boxes, must remain within the assigned space.
Exhibitors must bring a canopy, no larger than 10’ x 10’, securely weighted and anchored against wind gusts and weather conditions. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own drinks and snacks or utilize the available food vendors and drink booths.

 

UNOCCUPIED BOOTH SPACE AND REFUNDS: The City of Katy reserves the right to reassign unoccupied booth space or portions thereof without issuing refunds. No refunds will be given if you cancel after August 31st, 2025. 


EVENT POSTPONEMENT OR CANCELLATION: The City of Katy is not liable for damages or expenses incurred by exhibitors due to event postponement, interruption, or cancellation beyond its control.
Refunds, if applicable, will be issued after deducting incurred expenses.


SPACE SHARING AND DISPLAY POLICIES: Exhibitors may share or assign their allotted spaces with written consent from the festival producer.
Only items specified in agreements may be displayed.
DEADLINE: Vendors are urged to complete contracts and payments promptly to ensure participation by the specified date.
EXCLUSIONS FROM EVENT: The City of Katy reserves the right to determine the suitability of exhibitor products, services, or activities.
Exhibitors must comply with event standards; non-compliance may result in exclusion or modification of displays.
POLICIES AND PROCEDURES: All booth renters are bound by the City of Katy's policies and procedures, as well as relevant fire, utility, and building codes.
Violation of policies may result in ejection without refund.
FACILITY RESTRICTIONS: Only vehicles involved in unloading or picking up booth items may enter the festival area.
Prohibited actions include drilling, nailing, or affixing items to property.
Exhibitors are responsible for any damage caused to the venue or other exhibitors' property.
Compliance with fire and safety regulations is mandatory.
Use of water in exhibits must be coordinated with the City of Katy.
Alcoholic beverages are not permitted.
Food giveaways require prior approval and compliance with health regulations.
Extension cords must be safely covered and secured.
EVENT CANCELLATION: The event will be canceled if there is a 60% chance of rain, with participants notified via email, text, and social media.
By completing this application, you acknowledge understanding and acceptance of all listed policies and procedures. You certify that all involved parties will be informed and comply with these policies and procedures as outlined.

10x20 Booth $350.00 Non-refundable Please select this choice if you'd like to request 2 booth spaces instead of one.
Water Meter Access $40.00 Non-refundable If you need water access there will be a $40 flat fee for water meter usage.
