Little Elm’s Juneteenth Celebration returns on Friday, June 19, 2026, from 6:30 to 10:00 p.m. at The Lawn™ at Little Elm Park. This community event honors freedom, culture, and heritage while bringing residents and visitors together for an evening of connection and celebration.Since its beginning in 2023, the event has continued to grow, evolving from a Freedom Walk and educational program into a vibrant community gathering. The celebration remains rooted in honoring Juneteenth's significance while creating space for unity and cultural appreciation.This year’s event features a lively vendor market highlighting local and Black-owned businesses, live music from the David Whiteman Band, a video message from Opal Lee, and remarks from the Juneteenth committee. Attendees can expect an engaging and welcoming atmosphere that blends entertainment with meaningful moments of reflection.Vendors play an essential role in the success of this event, offering food, products, and experiences that celebrate culture and community. Parking Information – Little Elm Juneteenth Celebration (June 19, 2026)Parking for this event will be free for both vendors and attendees.Due to the size and layout of the event at Little Elm Park, parking locations and load-in instructions will be coordinated to ensure a smooth, safe experience for all participants. Specific parking details, including vendor parking areas and unloading procedures, will be provided prior to the event.Vendors should plan to follow all posted signage and directions from event staff upon arrival. To help maintain an efficient event setup and guest experience, vendors may be asked to unload and then move vehicles to designated parking areas.Additional details and a site map will be shared in advance of the event date.

Health and Safety Guidelines – Little Elm Juneteenth Celebration (June 19, 2026)The safety of all attendees, vendors, and staff is a top priority. All participants must comply with the following guidelines:General Safety RequirementsVendors must maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free booth space at all times. Walkways must remain clear and accessible. Any cords, equipment, or materials must be secured to prevent tripping hazards.Food Safety and HandlingAll food vendors must comply with applicable health department regulations and may be subject to on-site inspection. Proper food handling, storage, and temperature control are required at all times. Handwashing stations and gloves must be used as required by local health standards.Fire SafetyAny vendor using grills, open flames, propane, or generators must follow fire safety regulations. Fire extinguishers may be required and must be readily accessible. Equipment must be in good working condition and operated safely.Tent and Equipment SafetyAll tents must be properly secured with weights. Stakes are not permitted unless approved in advance. Vendors are responsible for ensuring all equipment is stable and safe for public interaction.Electrical and Generator UseElectricity is not guaranteed. Vendors using generators must ensure that generators are in good working order, kept away from public areas, and operated safely and considerately to minimize noise and fumes.Weather PreparednessThis is an outdoor event. Vendors must be prepared for changing weather conditions, including wind and heat. In the event of severe weather, vendors must immediately follow all instructions from event staff.Emergency ProceduresIn case of an emergency, vendors should notify event staff or on-site public safety personnel immediately. Vendors must follow all directions from police, fire, and Town staff.Health ConsiderationsVendors should not operate if experiencing symptoms of illness that could impact public health. Proper hygiene practices are expected at all times.Waste and SanitationVendors are responsible for keeping their area clean and disposing of waste properly. Grease, gray water, or hazardous materials must not be dumped on plianceFailure to follow health and safety guidelines may result in removal from the event without refund.

Terms and Conditions – Little Elm Juneteenth Celebration (June 19, 2026)By submitting an application, vendors agree to the following terms and conditions:Event OverviewThe Little Elm Juneteenth Celebration will take place on Friday, June 19, 2026, from 6:30 to 10:00 p.m. at The Lawn™ at Little Elm Park. This is a community-focused event with an expected attendance of approximately 500 guests.Application and AcceptanceSubmission of an application does not guarantee acceptance. Vendors will be selected based on event needs, product diversity, and alignment with the event's purpose. The Town of Little Elm reserves the right to accept or deny any application.Fees and PaymentAll vendor fees must be paid in full by the stated deadline to secure participation. Failure to submit payment may result in forfeiture of the ncellations and RefundsVendor fees are non-refundable unless the event is canceled by the Town of Little Elm. No refunds will be issued for weather-related conditions, low attendance, or vendor no-shows.Setup and BreakdownVendors must arrive and be fully set up prior to the event start time. Specific load, instructions, and times will be provided prior to the event. Vendors must remain set up for the duration of the event and may not begin breakdown early without approval.Booth RequirementsVendors are responsible for providing their own tents, tables, chairs, and any necessary equipment. Tents must be properly weighted. Electricity is not guaranteed unless otherwise specified.Permits and ComplianceVendors are responsible for obtaining all required permits, licenses, and inspections. Food vendors must comply with all health department regulations.Products and ConductAll items sold must be appropriate for a family-friendly, community event. The Town reserves the right to request removal of any items deemed inappropriate. Vendors are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully.Insurance and LiabilityVendors may be required to provide proof of liability insurance upon request. The Town of Little Elm is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items. Vendors assume all risk associated with participation.Weather PolicyThis is a rain-or-shine event. In the event of severe weather or unsafe conditions, modifications to the event or cancellation may occur at the discretion of the Town.IndemnificationVendors agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Town of Little Elm, its employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from participation in the event.Media ReleaseBy participating, vendors grant permission for photos and videos taken during the event to be used for promotional purposes.
