Little Elm’s Juneteenth Celebration returns on Friday, June 19, 2026, from 6:30 to 10:00 p.m. at The Lawn at Little Elm Park. This community event honors freedom, culture, and heritage while bringing residents and visitors together for an evening of connection and celebration. Since its beginning in 2023, the event has continued to grow, evolving from a Freedom Walk and educational program into a vibrant community gathering. The celebration remains rooted in honoring Juneteenth’s significance while creating space for unity and cultural appreciation. This year’s event features a curated vendor market, live music from the David Whiteman Band, a video message from Opal Lee, and remarks from the Juneteenth committee. Attendees can expect an engaging and welcoming atmosphere that blends entertainment with meaningful moments of reflection. Vendors play an essential role in the success of this event. The vendor market is intentionally curated to highlight and support Black-owned businesses, while also welcoming vendors whose products, services, and mission align with the purpose and cultural significance of Juneteenth. With an expected attendance of around 500 guests, this is a great opportunity to showcase your business and be part of a meaningful and growing event in Little Elm.

Parking instructions
Parking for this event will be free for both vendors and attendees. Due to the layout of The Lawn at Little Elm Park, vendor parking and load-in procedures will be coordinated to ensure a smooth, safe setup. Vendors should plan to unload quickly and move vehicles to designated parking areas as directed by event staff. Specific parking instructions and a site map will be provided prior to the event.

Health & safety
The safety of all attendees, vendors, and staff is a top priority. Vendors must comply with the following: General Safety Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free booth space. Walkways must remain clear at all times. Food Safety Food vendors must comply with all health regulations and may be subject to inspection. Proper food handling and sanitation are required. Fire Safety Vendors using grills, propane, or generators must follow all fire safety requirements. Fire extinguishers may be required. Tent and Equipment Safety All tents must be properly weighted. Vendors are responsible for ensuring all equipment is stable and secure. Electrical and Generator Use Electricity is not guaranteed. Generators must be operated safely and positioned away from public areas. Weather Preparedness Vendors must be prepared for outdoor conditions, including heat and wind. Emergency Procedures In case of emergency, vendors must follow all instructions from event staff and public safety personnel. Waste and Cleanliness Vendors are responsible for maintaining a clean space and properly disposing of waste. Compliance Failure to follow these guidelines may result in removal from the event.

Vendors play an essential role in the experience. The vendor market is intentionally curated to highlight and support Black-owned businesses, while also welcoming vendors whose products, services, and mission align with the purpose and cultural significance of Juneteenth.

 

With an expected attendance of 500 guests, this is a unique opportunity to showcase your business and be part of a meaningful, growing event in Little Elm.

Vendors are encouraged to create an engaging, welcoming experience that reflects the spirit of Juneteenth and enhances the overall atmosphere of the event.

Terms & Conditions
Event Overview The Little Elm Juneteenth Celebration will take place on Friday, June 19, 2026, from 6:30 to 10:00 p.m. at The Lawn at Little Elm Park. This is a community-focused event centered on honoring culture, history, and unity. Application and Selection Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance. Vendors will be selected based on product diversity, quality, and alignment with the purpose of the event. Priority consideration will be given to Black-owned businesses and vendors whose offerings reflect the spirit and cultural significance of Juneteenth. Fees and Payment All vendor fees must be paid in full by the stated deadline to secure participation. Failure to submit payment may result in forfeiture of the space. Cancellations and Refunds Vendor fees are non-refundable unless the event is canceled by the Town of Little Elm. Setup and Breakdown Vendors must arrive, unload, and be fully set up prior to the event start time. Vendors must remain set up for the duration of the event and may not begin breakdown early without approval. Booth Requirements Vendors are responsible for providing their own tents, tables, chairs, and necessary equipment. Tents must be properly weighted. Electricity is not guaranteed. Permits and Compliance Vendors are responsible for obtaining all required permits, licenses, and inspections. Food vendors must comply with all health department regulations. Products and Conduct All items and services must be appropriate for a family-friendly, community-focused event. The Town reserves the right to request removal of any items deemed inappropriate. Vendors are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully. Insurance and Liability Vendors may be required to provide proof of liability insurance upon request. The Town of Little Elm is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items. Weather Policy This is a rain-or-shine event. In the event of severe weather, modifications or cancellation may occur at the discretion of the Town. Indemnification Vendors agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Town of Little Elm, its employees, and affiliates from any claims arising from participation. Media Release By participating, vendors grant permission for photos and videos taken during the event to be used for promotional purposes.
