Ink & Impact: Juneteenth Author Showcase is a dynamic literary experience highlighting powerful voices from across our region. This event brings together authors, historians, and storytellers whose work reflects culture, history, and the Black experience.
Through engaging conversation, live readings, and audience interaction, this showcase explores how words shape identity, preserve legacy, and inspire change.
Join us for an evening of insight, creativity, and community as we celebrate the power of storytelling.

Parking is available on-site at Augusta Technical College’s Augusta Campus.
Arrival & Parking Guidance:
Enter campus via Augusta Tech Drive
Follow signage toward Building 1000 (ITC Building)
Park in any designated student/visitor parking areas near the ITC building
The auditorium entrance is located at the front of Building 1000

Parking is free for all attendees
Please do not park in reserved, faculty-only, or restricted areas
Follow all posted campus signage and directions from staff if present
We recommend arriving 15–20 minutes early to allow time for parking and check-in.

5. Clean Environment
Help us maintain a clean and welcoming space by disposing of trash properly and respecting the venue.
6. Security Presence
Event staff and/or security personnel may be present to ensure a safe and smooth experience for all attendees.
7. Accessibility
The venue is ADA accessible. If you require assistance, please notify event staff upon arrival.
8. Respectful Environment
We are committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment. Any behavior that disrupts the experience or threatens the safety of others will result in removal from the event.

This event is open to the public. All attendees must be properly registered (if required) and agree to follow all event policies and staff instructions.
2. Code of Conduct
This is a respectful, community-centered event. Disruptive behavior, harassment, or inappropriate conduct toward speakers, attendees, staff, or volunteers will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the event without warning.
3. Photography & Media Release
By attending, you grant permission for your image, voice, and likeness to be captured in photos and video recordings for promotional and marketing use by the event organizers, sponsors, and partners.
4. Event Changes
Event details, including schedule, speakers, and programming, are subject to change without prior notice. Every effort will be made to communicate updates when possible.
5. Personal Responsibility
Attendees are responsible for their personal belongings. Event organizers are not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
6. Health & Safety
Attendees agree to follow all posted safety guidelines and instructions from event staff and venue personnel. Any emergencies should be reported immediately to event staff.
7. Right to Refuse Entry or Remove
Event organizers reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any individual who does not comply with these terms or poses a risk to the safety or experience of others.

By attending, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in the event and release the organizers, partners, sponsors, and venue from any liability for injury, loss, or damages incurred.
