About This Application
This application allows food truck vendors to participate in "In a Food Truck Down by the River," a Sunday through Wednesday food truck program hosted by LaBelle Downtown Revitalization Corporation (LDRC) in Barron Park.
What You're Applying For
By submitting this application, you're requesting approval to operate your food truck on selected dates during our operating hours (11 AM - 8 PM) in Barron Park, located at 1559 De Soto Ave, LaBelle, FL 33935.
Costs
$25 application fee (charged upon approval)
$30 per day for each date you select (charged upon approval)
What You'll Need
Before submitting, have your current DBPR License ready to upload. After approval, you'll provide proof of liability insurance and sign a vendor agreement.
Approval Timeline
Most applications are approved within 3-5 business days. You'll receive a confirmation email with next steps and payment details.
Key Requirements
- Only self-contained food trucks permitted (no tents, trailers, or carts)
- Maximum 2 trucks per day
- Vendors with the same cuisine won't be scheduled on the same day
- All operations must comply with Florida food safety regulations
- We operate rain or shine—there are no refunds for standard weather. In the rare event of extreme weather emergencies, we may cancel and offer free rescheduling.
HEALTH & SAFETY GUIDELINES
Food Safety & Licensing
- I will maintain a current, valid DBPR (Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation) license at all times
- My DBPR license will be displayed in my food truck during all operating hours
- All food preparation will comply with Florida food safety regulations
- All staff handling food will maintain current food safety certifications as required by Florida law
- I will maintain proper hot and cold food storage temperatures
Liability Insurance
- I will maintain current liability insurance covering bodily injury, property damage, and products liability
- My insurance policy must include a minimum of $1,000,000 in coverage
- My insurance must list the following as additionally insured:
- LaBelle Downtown Revitalization Corporation, 8 Park Ave, LaBelle, FL 33935
- City of LaBelle, 481 W. Hickpochee Ave, LaBelle, FL 33935
- Hendry County, P.O. Box 2340, LaBelle, FL 33975
I will provide proof of insurance before my first operating date
Equipment & Propane Safety
- All propane tanks and fuel systems will be properly maintained and inspected regularly
- I will not operate equipment that is damaged or malfunctioning
- A fire extinguisher will be readily accessible in my truck and properly maintained
- I will follow all manufacturer guidelines for equipment operation and maintenance
Incident & Injury Reporting
- I will immediately report any accidents, injuries, property damage, or safety hazards to Jerika Mungillo

Emergency Procedures
In case of medical emergency,
- I will call 911 immediately and notify LDRC staff
- I will familiarize myself with park exits and emergency procedures
- I will comply with any emergency instructions from LDRC or emergency responders
- Weather-related closures will be communicated via email and phone to approved vendors
Park Safety Rules
- No smoking within 50 feet of food preparation areas
- No alcohol service (unless separately licensed and approved)
- I will maintain a family-friendly environment at all times
- I will not create excessive noise or engage in disruptive behavior
Liability Release & Assumption of Risk
- I acknowledge that food truck operation involves inherent risks
- I assume all risks associated with my participation
- I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the LaBelle Downtown Revitalization Corporation, the City of LaBelle, Hendry County, and Barron Park from all claims, damages, or liabilities arising from my food truck operation, injury to persons, or property damage
Parking Location
Food trucks must park on the west side of the pavilion parking lot, specifically on the left side of the pavilion on the east side of the lot. Parking is recommended north of the pavilion—this area will be marked on the pavement.
Before You Arrive
Plan to arrive by 10:30 AM on your scheduled date
Familiarize yourself with the parking area layout
Upon Arrival
Follow directional signage to the designated parking area
Park in the marked vendor space
Position your truck to avoid blocking pedestrian or vehicle traffic
During Operations
Keep your truck in its assigned space during all operating hours (11 AM - 8 PM)
Never leave your truck unattended
Ensure all signage is secure and limited to three (3) flags/signs
End of Day
Complete all operations by 8:00 PM
Remove your truck from the parking area by 8:30 PM
Leave the area clean and free of debris
Remove all trash and waste generated by your operations
