Children’s Veg Fest Health and Safety Guidelines: Our goal is simple. Everyone leaves feeling good, safe, and cared for. Stay Home If You Are Unwell- If you or your child are feeling sick, have a fever, or are showing signs of illness, please rest at home. There will be more events. Your health comes first. Child Supervision Is Required- Parents and guardians must supervise their children at all times. This is a shared space, not a drop off event. Food Awareness and Allergies- All food is prepared by independent vendors. Please ask vendors directly about ingredients and allergens. If you or your child have severe allergies, take extra care and come prepared with what you may need. Hydration and Breaks- Drink water throughout the event and take breaks as needed. Especially important for kids who are running, playing, and trying everything all at once. Participation in Activities- Yoga, movement, and interactive activities are optional. Participate at your own pace and comfort level. If something does not feel right in your body, stop. No pushing through pain here. Footwear and Movement Safety- Wear comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear. Some areas may involve movement or outdoor terrain, so be mindful of your surroundings. First Aid Support- Basic first aid support will be available on site. Please notify a staff member immediately if assistance is needed. Respect Personal Space and Boundaries- Be mindful of others. Ask before touching, especially with children. Keep the energy kind and respectful. Clean and Shared Spaces- Help us keep the space clean. Dispose of trash properly and encourage children to do the same. Emergency Awareness- In case of an emergency, follow directions from event staff and volunteers. We will guide you.
