Celebrate Burbank Parade – Participant Application

 

Be part of the excitement as Magnolia Park Presents: Celebrate Burbank! The 2026 parade will bring together schools, community groups, performers, car clubs, equestrian units, and local businesses for a full day of fun, music, and hometown pride along Magnolia Boulevard.

 

We’re looking for entries that showcase the creativity, spirit, and diversity of Burbank — from marching bands and dance troupes to colorful floats, classic cars, and community organizations. Whether you’re walking, riding, or performing, this is your chance to celebrate what makes Burbank such a special place to live, work, and play.

 

Applications are open to schools, nonprofits, businesses, cultural groups, and individuals. Space is limited, and all entries are subject to approval by the Parade Committee to ensure safety, balance, and a great experience for all spectators.

 

Please note: Submitting this application does not guarantee participation. Approved applicants will receive confirmation and lineup details by email prior to the event.

Celebrate Burbank Car Show – Participant Information

 

Join us for the Celebrate Burbank Car Show on Saturday, May 16, 2026, taking place from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM as part of the larger Celebrate Burbank street fair.

 

The car show will span two full blocks of Magnolia Boulevard near Magnolia Park’s famous Auto Books-Aerobooks bookstore, placing participating vehicles right in the heart of the event. This area will be surrounded by live music, vendor booths, food trucks, and family activities, creating a lively environment where attendees can explore the vehicles while enjoying the festival atmosphere.

 

We have 70 vehicle spaces available, and we expect tens of thousands of attendees throughout the day as part of the larger Celebrate Burbank celebration.

 

Whether you have a classic car, hot rod, muscle car, vintage vehicle, or something unique, we’d love to have you be part of bringing this exciting new community tradition to life.

Note: “Grand Marshal” is a descriptive term for this sponsorship. Sponsorship does not get you the actual position of Grand Marshal for the parade.

This sponsorship will help make a new feature of Magnolia Park Events come to life: an entire block dedicated to celebrating the many artists living and working in Burbank. This sponsorship will fund large tents that will create a gallery space at the event, allowing artists to appear for free. Sponsors will be highlighted in multiple places around the art show block, plus on various promotional materials, social media, and more.

Note: “Grandstand” is the name of the sponsorship level and does not reflect the sponsorship of an actual grandstand (if we get one).

The Fun Zone Sponsor presents the family-friendly activity area at Celebrate Burbank — one of the most popular destinations of the event. As the Fun Zone Sponsor, your organization will have the opportunity to curate and provide the activities within this space, which may include bounce houses, inflatable attractions, climbing walls, craft stations, interactive games, or similar family-focused experiences. This area is designed to be a high-energy, high-visibility destination for kids and families throughout the day. The sponsor may display on-site signage and branding throughout the Fun Zone highlighting your support, subject to event guidelines. In addition, you will be recognized as the official Fun Zone Sponsor across printed and digital event materials, including promotional graphics, the event website, and social media, along with verbal and written acknowledgements as appropriate. This sponsorship offers a unique opportunity to align your brand with one of the most engaging, community-centered areas of Celebrate Burbank while creating a memorable experience for attendees of all ages.

The first faces everyone sees in the parade. Includes 10x30 booth, poster listing, and community shout-outs. NOTE: You’re not actually carrying a banner in the parade. This is just a donation level name, not a position in the parade.

Help Bring the Parade Back to Burbank! Bringing a full-scale parade back to Burbank is no small task — and definitely not a cheap one. Every contribution helps make the Magnolia Park Parade in the Park a reality, from signage and staging to police and public safety. Magnolia Park Events, the producer of this event, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, so your donations are tax-deductible. Want to go above and beyond? If you’d like to donate more than $1,000, consider becoming an official sponsor. Sponsorship packages start at just $1,500 and include marketing benefits and premium event visibility.

Celebrate Burbank will be a massive undertaking for Magnolia Park and we rely on volunteers to help keep everything running smoothly both before the event begins and throughout the night. Volunteer shifts are still being determined, you can sign up now so we can keep in touch. You’ll receive instructions and training before your shift begins, and roles may be assigned based on preference and event needs. Comfortable clothing and walking shoes are recommended since this is a large, active event. This is a great way to be part of one of Burbank’s most beloved traditions, connect with the community, and support an event that brings joy to thousands of people each year. NON-PROFIT EXHIBITORS have a discounted rate and there is a chance that they could be completely free if one of our larger sponsors decides they don't want to use their included booth space. You should assume that you will be paying for your booth, just in case.
