Celebrate Burbank Parade – Participant Application
Be part of the excitement as Magnolia Park Presents: Celebrate Burbank! The 2026 parade will bring together schools, community groups, performers, car clubs, equestrian units, and local businesses for a full day of fun, music, and hometown pride along Magnolia Boulevard.
We’re looking for entries that showcase the creativity, spirit, and diversity of Burbank — from marching bands and dance troupes to colorful floats, classic cars, and community organizations. Whether you’re walking, riding, or performing, this is your chance to celebrate what makes Burbank such a special place to live, work, and play.
Applications are open to schools, nonprofits, businesses, cultural groups, and individuals. Space is limited, and all entries are subject to approval by the Parade Committee to ensure safety, balance, and a great experience for all spectators.
Please note: Submitting this application does not guarantee participation. Approved applicants will receive confirmation and lineup details by email prior to the event.

Terms & Conditions
Celebrate Burbank Parade – Participant Terms & Conditions
- Application & Acceptance. Submission of this application does not guarantee acceptance into the Celebrate Burbank Parade.All entries are subject to review and approval by the Parade Committee.Accepted participants will be notified by email or mail with their assigned parade lineup number, staging time, and additional details. Applications may be declined for any reason, including duplication of entry type, safety concerns, or noncompliance with event guidelines.
- Entry Fees. All entry fees are due at the time of application. Fees are non-refundable unless the event is canceled by Magnolia Park Events.
Commercial entries must submit payment before confirmation. - Safety Requirements. All entries must be safe, well-maintained, and suitable for public display. Drivers of motorized vehicles must have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance. Walking units must maintain forward motion and avoid prolonged stops.No alcohol, tobacco, vaping, or controlled substances may be consumed or displayed during participation.
Participants are responsible for ensuring that all equipment, floats, and vehicles meet city and event safety standards. - Conduct & Behavior. Participants must follow all instructions from parade officials, volunteers, and law enforcement at all times.
The Parade Committee reserves the right to remove any entry that behaves inappropriately, displays offensive material, or poses a safety risk.
Music and performances must be family-friendly and suitable for all ages.
Distribution of candy or materials is allowed only if items are handed directly to spectators (no throwing). - Equestrian & Animal Entries. All animals must be under control at all times and accompanied by handlers. Equestrian groups are required to provide their own cleanup crew during and after the parade. Proof of liability insurance may be required.
- Lineup & Staging. Parade lineup numbers and staging times will be provided prior to the event. All participants must arrive at the designated check-in time. Late arrivals may forfeit their position or be denied entry. The Parade Committee reserves the right to alter the lineup or order as needed for safety or flow.
- Liability & Insurance. Participation is at the applicant’s own risk.
Magnolia Park Events, the City of Burbank, and all associated sponsors, volunteers, and affiliates are not responsible for injury, loss, or damage to any person or property. Participants agree to hold harmless all event organizers and the City of Burbank for any claims arising from participation.
Proof of insurance may be requested for vehicle, float, or animal entries. - Photography & Media Release. By participating, entrants grant permission to Magnolia Park Events and its partners to photograph, record, and use images or video of the entry for promotional purposes without compensation.
- Weather & Cancellation Policy The parade will take place rain or shine.
In the event of unsafe conditions or city-mandated cancellation, all participants will be notified as soon as possible. - Agreement. By submitting this application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by all parade rules, regulations, and decisions made by the Parade Committee.

- Participant agrees to keep their assigned space free of trash, equipment, or damage, and to comply with all city requirements regarding cleanup and removal. Failure to do so may result in additional charges or penalties as determined by the Event organizers or the City of Burbank.
