Vendor Hold Harmless & Liability Waiver

2026 Buford Holiday Festival

I, the undersigned vendor (or authorized representative of the vendor business), acknowledge

that I am voluntarily participating in the 2026 Buford Holiday Festival, presented by the Buford

Business Alliance (BBA) and the City of Buford, to be held on Saturday, December 5, 2026,

at 301 East Main Street, Buford, GA 30518.

Assumption of Risk

I understand and acknowledge that participation in this event involves inherent risks, including

but not limited to personal injury, property damage, theft, weather-related hazards, equipment

failure, or accidents related to setup, operation, or breakdown of my vendor space. I voluntarily

assume all such risks associated with participation in this event.

Release and Hold Harmless

In consideration of being permitted to participate as a vendor, I hereby release, waive,

discharge, and agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Buford Business Alliance, the City

of Buford, and their respective officers, employees, volunteers, agents, sponsors, and

representatives from any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or

expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of or related to my participation in

the event, including but not limited to claims for bodily injury, death, or property damage,

whether caused by negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Responsibility for Property and Conduct

I acknowledge that the Buford Business Alliance and the City of Buford are not responsible for

any loss, theft, or damage to my property or equipment. I agree to conduct my activities in a

safe and lawful manner and to comply with all event rules, local ordinances, and applicable

laws.

Insurance and Compliance

I understand that the Buford Business Alliance does not provide insurance coverage for

vendors. Any insurance coverage is the sole responsibility of the vendor. Vendors are

responsible for obtaining any required permits, licenses, and approvals necessary for

participation, including food service permits where applicable.

Medical ConsentIn the event of an emergency, I authorize event organizers to seek medical treatment on my

behalf if necessary. I agree to be responsible for any medical expenses incurred.

Binding Agreement

I certify that I am at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to sign this waiver on behalf of

the vendor business. I understand that this agreement is binding upon myself, my heirs,

successors, assigns, and representatives.

By answering the question ans digital signature, you acknowledge you have read and agree to the hold harmless agreement. 

Anyone applying that is not a BBA member or food vendor needs to complete this application

The Buford Holiday Festival & Parade Stage is a family-centered community event that highlights the talent of our local youth. We are primarily seeking performances from children and student groups, including singers, dancers, school choirs, dance teams, martial arts demonstrations such as Taekwondo, and other youth performing arts organizations. Our goal is to showcase the incredible young talent in our community in a fun, festive, and supportive environment. While youth and student performers are our priority, a limited number of additional community acts may be considered based on availability. All performances should be family-friendly and appropriate for a holiday audience.
