The Reading Pride LGBTQ+ Pride festival is the oldest and largest festival of its kind in the area celebrating its 18th anniversary in 2024 and continuing to grow. Last year's festival was the largest ever, with over 5,000 attendees, 170 vendors, 15 food trucks, and 30 performers, and this year will be even larger. The 2024 Festival will expand to be a full weekend of Pride Activities called Berk's Pride Fest. The festivities will kick off with a parade in the City of Reading on Saturday July 20th, followed by the Festival at Jim Dietrich Park on Sunday July 21st from 11am - 6pm. Local businesses will be encouraged to join the festivities and will be listed on the virtual "Gay Card" attendees will receive highlighting the business participating. Interested Businesses should apply under the other applications tab. (Applications for the "Gay Card" & details will be available in February of 2024) This weekend full of Pride Festivities is not one to be missed. Vendor, sponsor & entertainer applications go live on January 1st, 2023. Sponsors, vendors, and entertainers are encouraged to complete the applications early. Everyone will also have the option to participate in the parade with a float or walking group. (Vendors should See parade options in the application) Sponsors this year will be listed as sponsors of the Parade & Festival and have the option to participate as described in their sponsorship package. Vendors are encouraged to take a look at our Berks LGBTQ+ Alliance site and consider membership as members receive discounted vendor fees.   *Please note that participation in the Parade on July 20th, 2024 in the City of Reading is a separate application & fee. Vendors who join the Berks LGBTQ+ Business alliance before submitting their application can also take advantage of that discount.
