BACK FOR IT'S 2ND YEAR - Art Garden KC's Berkley Riverfront Fest is quickly becoming Kansas City’s most anticipated weekly hub for entertainment and community connection! This free event, drives festival lovers from all over the Midwest to gather, each Sunday, along the green spaces and river views of Berkley Riverfront Park! Each Sunday is filled with local art, food, music and creative activities. FEATURES: -Over 60 vendors featuring unique, handmade jewelry, décor, ceramics, clothing, art and more! - Open Mic Jams and live music - Food Trucks for all the munchies - Wellness Garden featuring rotating classes each week (breathwork, yoga, tai chi, astrology, sound bowls, meditation) - Henna, tarot, face-painting and caricature services - Yard Games - Live Art - and so much more! Our events foster community, drive cultural tourism and provides local creatives a space to grow without risk. Shop handcrafted local works from KC makers in the gorgeous, Berkley Riverfront Park! Artist & Maker Info: This is a “Roll Call” style event open to new and experienced vendors! The application for this event will open every Monday, the first 60 vendors to respond will be reserved a space. We do not curate this event - all handmade artists & makers within a 50mi radius of KC are welcome to join, regardless of experience or skill-level! It’s a hippie-fest by the river - have fun, be kind and make friends ✌

Reach a new & diverse audience! Join us in beautiful Berkley Riverfront Park for our largest weekly arts & music festival ♥

Nestled between the new KC Current stadium, Origin Hotel and the upcoming 2 Birds 1 Stone beer garden, our little hippie festival by the river is quickly growing with over 1500 visitors every Sunday!

Why is this event important to the KC community? Art Garden KC's Berkley Riverfront Festival functions as a low risk/low barrier entrepreneurial "test kitchen", supporting over 60 diverse artists, makers, and innovators EVERY Sunday...many from minority communities and low-income ZIP codes. Our booth fees for artists at Berkley are just $10 - ensuring that all creatives, no matter their financial situation, can participate! For new and emerging artists, we even provide FREE canopies and equipment to those in need. Putting yourself out there and sharing your talents can be scary, therefore we make every effort to encourage a supportive, non-competitive environment. At Berkley, creative entrepreneurs can expand their business budget, gain sales/marketing experience, develop their product display and eventually graduate to our curated markets in higher-traffic venues!

Throughout the season, we also partner with fellow organizations to host entrepreneurial education classes for youth and small businesses. Beyond vendor impact, Berkley Riverfront Festival also provides a consistent space for KC families and individuals to play, create, heal and escape the craziness of everyday life together ♥

In 2023, Art Garden KC provided a $1.4 Million economic impact to the creative small business community and $10,700 in support to local musicians! All of this made possible by our sponsors like Port KC, Illicit Gardens, From The Earth and organizations like YOU!

The easiest way to support Art Garden KC is to signup for a Commercial/Non-Profit Sponsor booth for one OR multiple dates throughout our season. Booth Fee: 10 x 10 space

Commercial Rate: $250 per event date + 3% processing fee
Non-Profit Rate: $150 per event date + 3% processing fee

No application fee to apply!

- COMMERCIAL VENDOR: A business/organization that does not fall within our "handmade artist/maker guidelines" and intends to set up to advertise, disseminate information, and/or sell a product, device, or service. We encourage vendors to provide an interactive activity or merch giveaways at their booth.
- NON-PROFIT VENDOR: A non-profit booth is defined as any organization with a 501(c)(3) designation. A copy of your tax-exempt status must be submitted with your application.
- Vendors must provide their own 10x10 canopy, 20-30lb weights per leg, chairs, tables, tablecloths, and displays.
- Commercial/Non-Profit vendors will be given notice once approved for all or some of the dates requested. If spaces are full, you may be added to our waitlist and contacted once a space is available.
- If approved, your account will be charged (in full) on the 1st of the month for ALL approved dates in that month, unless you request to pay in full for ALL approved dates this season or make a different payment arrangement.
- Booth locations will be assigned on the event map. Your map location will be viewable 1 week prior to the event date. Art Garden reserves the right to make changes to booth locations as needed.

Hello KC Tastemakers! Berkley Riverfront Festival is BACK and we are so excited to bring local KC eats to our Sunday festivals, again! Please carefully read the info below before applying.

This application is open to ALL Kansas City-based food trucks with required KC permits and licenses. There is no application or vending fee for this event!

Applying does not guarantee space. Your application will be reviewed and if you meet all requirements our Food Truck Coordinator will contact you for scheduling :)

Event Details

The volume of patrons varies by event and usually depends on the weather. This year we are projecting 1,500 attendees in the 5 hour span of each Sunday event.
A total of 1 beverage/dessert truck and 3 food trucks will be accepted each Sunday.
We do our best to rotate the trucks that are accepted to give new trucks an opportunity and to keep a good mix of food choices each event date. *Please note: if similar food categories apply for the same date, we do our best not to book similar trucks for the same date.

Load-in: 9:00 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.
Load-out: 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Booths available: 74
Booth Fee: 10 x 10 space - $10 + 6% processing fee

Art Garden KC's Berkley Riverfront Festival is our traditional Sunday "hippie-fest", geared towards new & experienced vendors! Our mission with this location is to provide a low-barrier, relaxed and risk-free space for vendors learn, grow and make friends :) This is NOT a curated event, it is open to all local artists/makers of all skill levels and styles, regardless of vending experience.

The event is hosted EVERY Sunday through October 27th (May 12th & June 9th TBD due to KC Current Games). Artist & Maker applications open Every Monday prior to the Sunday event. The first 74 vendors to apply each week will be guaranteed a spot.

Booth fees are $10 (plus 6% processing fee) and you will be charged immediately upon approval, so please make sure you have funds on the credit/debit card attached to your application when you apply. If your card declines, you will be placed on the waitlist and we will select the next vendor in line.

Application is open to handcrafted/handmade makers and artists that live within a 50 mile radius of Kansas City.
Vendors bringing their own their own 8x8 or 10x10 canopy must have 20-30lb weights per leg, bungees, chairs, tables, tablecloths, and displays.
We understand some new vendors may not have a canopy, therefore you may select to borrow and share one of our 10x10 canopies until you can afford to purchase your own. If selecting this option, we will place another vendor in the 10x10 space with you, you each will have room to bring a 6ft table, 2 chairs, 1 display stand and/or grid wall. We have a limited amount of "borrowed canopies", so please try to purchase your own as quickly as possible to make room for other new vendors.
We encourage live art and live paintings at ALL our events, so feel free to bring your supplies...shoppers LOVE to engage with artists creating on the spot :)
Food trucks, drinks and port-a-potty restrooms are available on site, but feel free to bring your own snacks/beverages.
Pets, children, family are welcome to join you in your booth or hang out at the event, just please make sure they are well-behaved and do not disturb other vendor's displays :)

Spaces fill up FAST! So be quick to apply ;) We've been told this application process is an adrenaline rush 😅 that's part of the fun! The reason we set it this way, is to ensure everyone gets a chance to vend throughout the season, and to help vendors that have trouble planning in advance due to complicated schedules, neurodiversity etc.

Once you have applied with us and been approved to vend, you will be added to our Vendor Contact List and begin receiving weekly "Roll Call" emails for this event and other vending opportunities 💕
