Art on Ocean is an outdoor arts festival along Ocean Avenue from California to Montana Avenue, alongside Palisades Park in Santa Monica.
This open-air, free event welcomes thousands to explore art in a stunning coastal setting, featuring curated artist booths, live music, interactive experiences, and a beer and wine garden.

Application Guidelines:
Artists may apply in up to three categories and must submit a separate application for each. If jewelry represents less than 10% of your work, you may apply under another category; otherwise, you must apply under Jewelry.
Categories:
- Clay: Original clay and porcelain work, functional or sculptural
- Fiber: Wearable and non-wearable; no machine-tooled or mass-produced items
- Glass: Functional or sculptural; kiln forming, blowing, molding, casting, and cold working permitted
- Jewelry: Only accepted jewelry artists may sell; no commercial components
- Metal: Sculptural or decorative metalwork (no jewelry)
- Mixed Media: Combination of two or more materials in one piece
- Musical Instruments: Handmade instruments
- Natural Materials: Basket weaving, chair caning, gourds, and similar natural works
- Photography: Original images (film or digital); artist-created source material only
- Printmaking: Hand-pulled, limited edition, signed and numbered prints
- Sculpture: Three-dimensional work in a single medium
- Two-Dimensional: Drawing, painting, and digital work; no reproductions
- Wood: Original, hand-crafted or machine-worked wood pieces
