The 44th Annual Candyland Christmas Stroll!
It’s not just a stroll – it’s a journey through a whimsical wonderland of candy canes, gumdrops, and peppermint delights! This year, the Downtown Georgetown Association transforms Historic Downtown Georgetown into a Candyland Christmas Stroll – A Sweet Stroll Through Georgetown for a FREE THREE-DAY EVENT of festive fun.
Kick off your holiday season with jolly, FREE family-friendly festivities at the 44th Annual Christmas Stroll! Whether you're a candy-loving kiddo or a gumdrop-glowing grown-up, there’s something for everyone to savor.
Don’t miss the Candyland Parade on Saturday morning – a highlight of the Stroll! Afterward, make your way to Santa's Candy Throne for a photo op, Whoo Hair, face painting and explore a peppermint path of over 200 artisan, craft, and boutique vendors offering gifts as sweet as the season.
Enjoy live music and entertainment, delicious dining options, and sweet treats from local restaurants and food vendors. Be sure to stroll through the Square’s candy-themed storefronts, snap photos with oversized candy props, and savor every magical moment of this Georgetown tradition.

Friday: Sweet Start to the Stroll
December 5: 4:00pm - 9:30pm
Kickoff Celebration: Join us for a festive evening with live entertainment and the grand illumination of Downtown’s Georgetown dazzling holiday lights, transforming the Square into a twinkling Candyland wonderland. This is the perfect way to welcome the holiday season, sip on hot cocoa, and share in the joy and excitement of the Christmas Stroll!
Candyland Preview: Get first look for gifts for everyone on your list. Stroll through a dazzling array of over 200 vendor booths, each transformed into a festive Candyland wonderland. From handcrafted holiday decor and artisan jewelry to sweet treats and boutique treasures, Friday evening is the perfect time to shop for unique gifts!
Stroll the Square: Explore beautifully decorated storefronts of Historic Downtown Georgetown, where each shop window is a feast for the eyes with Candyland-themed displays. Browse local boutiques and specialty shops offering exclusive promotions and early holiday deals.
Saturday: Stroll, Sweets & Parade Fun
December 6: 10:00am - 9:30pm
Candyland Parade: Everyone’s favorite! Watch colorful floats, festive performers, and local groups march through the streets in a swirl of holiday spirit. Parade starts at 10am.
Santa, Whoo Hair & Face Painting: Stop by Santa’s Candy Throne on the courthouse lawn for festive photo ops, show off your Candyland style with Whoo Hair makeovers, and let the face painters add a touch of candy-inspired magic to your holiday look!
Vendor Booth Bonanza & Food Truck Delights: Wander through rows of artisan vendor booths offering unique gifts, and savor candy-themed eats and festive bites from a variety of food trucks and vendors.
Shop Sweet Treats & Local Boutiques: Explore the charming boutiques and gift shops of Downtown Georgetown, where holiday magic fills the air. Indulge in a delicious dinner and festive treats at local restaurants.
Sweet Kid Zones: Explore Peppermint Kids Zone offering games, treats, and crafts for all ages. This special area is filled with candy-themed games, interactive crafts, Greater Austin Comic Con characters, story time, rock wall, obstacle course, kids train rides, arts, crafts and games, and festive treats designed to delight kids and families alike.
Candyland Snow in the Park: Step into a sweet winter wonderland where candy-themed fun meets marshmallows of falling snow! It’s the perfect blend of magical snowfall and candy-coated charm, creating a holiday experience you won’t want to miss!
Live & Entertainment: Enjoy performances by local artists, schools, and community groups throughout the day that will delight audiences of all ages.
Sunday: The Sweet Finale

Soak in the Sweet Stroll: Wind down the weekend with a slower-paced Sunday of holiday magic. Soak in the sights, sounds, and scents of the Christmas Stroll while shopping for last-minute gifts at artisan booths and indulge in sweet treats and bites from local vendors and food trucks.
Family Activities: Continue the Candyland adventure with interactive kid zones, crafts, and more. It’s a sweet and memorable experience that brings the magic of the Candyland Christmas Stroll to life!
Sweet Farewell: Enjoy final performances and a closing celebration that leaves everyone smiling.

The Downtown Georgetown Association invites you to join us for the 44th Annual Candyland Christmas Stroll, a beloved Georgetown tradition that attracts over 55,000 guests each year to the Historic Georgetown Square, Georgetown, Texas.
This year’s theme, “Candyland – A Sweet Stroll Through Georgetown,” will transform the Square into a candy-coated paradise filled with festive entertainment, shopping, dining, and family fun.

FOOD VENDORS:
THE REQUIRED UPLOADS MAY BE UPLOADED DURING CREATION OF YOUR APPLICATION OR YOU CAN RETURN TO YOUR APPLICATION AND UPLOAD AT A LATER DATE BUT 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO EVENT. ALL FOOD CATAGORIES BELOW MUST UPLOAD FOOD HANDLERS CERTIFICATE.
- Non-concession food booths: UPLOAD to your Application Temporary Food Event Permit for the Christmas Stroll event if you are selling TCS (foods requiring temperature control for safety) and/or providing open sampling where foods are sold/distributed outside of the sealed packaging from an approved facility.
- Food Vendors with open foods must have a hand wash facility within their booth constructed of food safe materials. If reusable utensils are used in preparation, a means must be provided to properly clean and sanitize equipment used. Additional guidelines can be found at TEMPORARY EVENT FOOD BOOTH SET UP REQUIREMENTS.
- Concession Food Booths: Must provide Temporary Food Event Permit for the entire event duration to do more extensive onsite preparation and service.
- Food Vendors would be subject to all of the TEMPORARY EVENT FOOD BOOTH SET UP REQUIREMENTS.
FOOD/BEVERAGE TRUCK VENDOR:
- UPLOAD to your Application: UPLOAD to your application an Annual Mobile Food Permit or a Temporary Food Event Permit.
- Vendors under a Mobile Food Permit must be operating from only their permitted mobile and may not set up any storage, preparation or service outside of that mobile unit without obtaining a Temporary Food Event Permit.
- Vendors that qualify are encouraged to obtain a Mobile Permit, as this one permit would allow for participation in events for one year from the date of issuance.
- UPLOAD to your application permit from the Williamson County and Cities Health Department to complete your application www.wcchd.org
- UPLOAD to your application: Certificate of Insurance showing proof of liability coverage by March 1, 2025. (Coverage must include a minimum of $1,000,000 general liability and products completed. Downtown Georgetown Association, 116 w. 8th #109 Georgetown, TX 78626 must be listed as ‘additional insured’ through the event date.)
- UPLOAD to your Application: Vendors must submit the City of Georgetown Fire permit 2 weeks prior to Christmas Stroll event.
- Vendors must pass the onsite day of fire inspection by City of Georgetown Fire Department

TERMS & AGREEMENT
By submitting this application, I acknowledge that I have read and agree to abide by all vendor policies, including:
The DGA Christmas Stroll event is a rain-or-shine event, and no refunds will be issued for any circumstances including inclement weather.
I am responsible for providing my own setup, including 10x10 tent with proper weights, tables, chairs, displays and signage.
I understand that all sales and transactions are my responsibility.
I will comply with all local health and safety regulations.
I release and hold harmless the Downtown Georgetown Association, the City of Georgetown, and Williamson County from any liability, loss, or damage.
