About the event
Saturdays June 13 - October 17, from 9:00am - 1:00pm, Located in the beautiful Daybreak Community of South Jordan, UT the Daybreak Farmers Market fills its booth spaces with a splendid variety of artisan quality handicrafts, food and décor. On top of everything else attendees can enjoy live music and a welcoming atmosphere. Vendors will find a wonderful "vendor family" where each vendor is treated with warmth and respect. Well behaved pets are welcome (however we encourage keeping them off the asphalt on hot days).

Artists, vendors & exhibitors applications

Farmers/Growers: Raw agricultural products and/or products made with natural ingredients.  Fruit, vegetables, grains, nuts, flowers, bedding plants, potted plants, and bulbs that are raised on the applicant’s farm, or backyard are included in this category. 
Ranchers/Animal/Meat:  Natural, grass-fed, pasture raised, or organic meat products are preferred.  Retail sales of meat require a Department of Agriculture & Food (UDAF) certificate before selling at the market.
Eggs: Eggs can be sold at the market without a Department of Food & Agriculture certificate.  Temperatures must be controlled (45 degrees F or lower) or the product will be removed.  Vendor category is determined based on the majority of products sold at the booth.  If eggs or other animal products are the primary product, the vendor category is Rancher/Animal product.  If produce is the primary product, the vendor category is Farmers/Growers.
Dairy: Dairy requires a Department of Agriculture & Food certificate before it may be sold at the market

Prepared food vendors must follow all regulations for the Utah Health Department, and the Utah Department of Agriculture and Food. Be sure to read the Policies and Procedures Manual as we stick to it. The Daybreak Farmers Market does not accept food under the Homemade Food Act (HB 181) for the regular farmers market. Food vendors for the regular farmers market are required to use either a Cottage Kitchen, or Commercial Kitchen. All vendors are required to have insurance.

 

At this time we are able to accept very limited food trailers We can only have a MAX of 1 per week. We are unable to accept the following foods as they compete with local restaurants: Hamburgers, Pizza. 

 

NOTE: Prepared food vendors will NOT be accepted for October 17. That is the day of the Pumpkin Regatta, and we are not in charge of providing food vendors for that event.

Art & Craft: Artisans who make or design everything they sell.  Artists must make or design, or be involved in the manufacturing of their products in order to be considered for this category.  We look for diverse, unique products. Sub-categories include:  jewelry, glass work, leather work, mixed, paper crafts, photography, textiles, pottery, woodwork, ceramics, sculpture, personal care, metalwork, printmaking, painting and home decor. 

 

Imported Goods: Vendors bringing imported goods must bring handmade goods directly from that country, and have a personal connection to the country. Items must be unique to that country.

 

If the majority of what you sell is jewelry, you must fill out the JEWELRY APPLICATION.

 

If you sell SOAP, LOTION, or other BODY PRODUCTS, you must fill out the BODY PRODUCTS application.

 

Face Painters fill out this application.

Body Products:Handmade body products. Soap, lotion, creams, bath bombs, lip balm, tallow, etc.

Jewelry: Jewelers who make or design their jewelry.  Artists must make or design, or be involved in the manufacturing of their products in order to be considered for this category. 

 

Imported Goods: Vendors bringing imported goods must bring handmade goods directly from that country, and have a personal connection to the country. Items must be unique to that country. Please have your “story” posted at your booth so customers can see what your relation to that country is.

Youth Vendor (Regular Market): Youth under 18 who have either been a regular vendor with the Daybreak Farmers Market, or have participated in our Youth Entrepreneur Days, may apply to be a vendor in the regular market. Youth under 18 who are working entrepreneurially in their own businesses.  

This can look like many different things. Products are expected to be made exclusively by the youth (with parental supervision if required). The youth vendor should be the one manning the booth (parental supervision is of course allowed, however the youth vendor should be capable of running their own booth.  

We encourage Youth Entrepreneurs to apply.  Products should be “market quality” to participate in the weekly market.

Youth Entrepreneur Day:

The dates for the Youth Entrepreneur Day is October 3, 2026.

 

Do not pick any other dates than these, as we will not be able to accommodate you.

 

This is for all youth (under 18) wanting an opportunity to sell handmade items they have made themselves. If you are looking to sell food you will fall under the Homemade Food Act and must have a sign saying it’s homemade food. You will need to look up regulations for selling food under the Homemade Food Act Utah HB 181. Food must be PREPACKAGED. We suggest having individually packaged samples to avoid needing a temporary food permit for sampling.

Musicians are encouraged to bring a receptacle for tips, and to print our their Venmo QR code for tips. Musicians are not paid by the market. The application is open through the season, as musicians schedules change the times should become available for signing up up.
