Youth Entrepreneur Day:
The dates for the Youth Entrepreneur Day is October 3, 2026.
Do not pick any other dates than these, as we will not be able to accommodate you.
This is for all youth (under 18) wanting an opportunity to sell handmade items they have made themselves. If you are looking to sell food you will fall under the Homemade Food Act and must have a sign saying it’s homemade food. You will need to look up regulations for selling food under the Homemade Food Act Utah HB 181. Food must be PREPACKAGED. We suggest having individually packaged samples to avoid needing a temporary food permit for sampling.

Terms & Conditions
The 2026 Daybreak Farmers Market Policies and Procedures Vendor Manual and Contract this application is in is considered to be the Terms and Conditions. Please read it thoroughly. Youth Entrepreneur Day participants are NOT required to have insurance. Youth Entrepreneur Day participants selling food products are not required to use a Cottage Kitchen or Commercial Kitchen. Youth Entrepreneur Day participants selling food products ARE required to follow the regulations under the Utah Home Consumption and Homemade Food Act (House Bill 181). The law allows the sale of home made foods (as long as they do not contain meats or raw (unpasteurized) milk products). Be sure to read the full text of the law. All food sold by Youth Entrepreneur Day vendors must be prepackaged.
