Save the date! the 2026 Portland Regional Gem & Mineral Show will be October 2nd, 3rd & 4th, 2026. We are a group of 5 area non-profit clubs coming together every October to promote our show of lapidary arts, geology, paleontology, and mineralogy. There will be learning presentations for adults and children. (children should be accompanied by a parent). This is the largest non-profit show in the Portland area. The 45th Annual Portland Regional Gem & Mineral Show October 2nd, 3rd & 4th, 2026 Fri & Sat 10-6pm, Sun 10-5pm Wingspan Event and Conference Center at the Westside Commons at 801 NE 34th Ave, Hillsboro, OR, 97124 (across from the Hillsboro airport) The venue charges separately for parking so consider carpooling or taking the MAX Admission $7 weekend pass, kids 12 & under free In detail, our show offers the following 40+ dealers from all around the Northwest selling rocks, minerals, fossils, jewelry, beads, faceted gems, and lapidary supplies Over 70 display exhibits of a variety of rocks, minerals, and fossils. Some of which are competition displays, some of which are put on by our Junior rock hounds and collectors. Kids corner with games and prizes Interactive Fossil Area to look at fossils and ask questions Fun cell phone scavenger hunt through the displays. Wear your favorite rock & mineral t-shirt Photographer of rocks and minerals. Door prizes, Raffle, and Silent Auctions Interactive demonstrations from experienced artisans in subjects like wire wrapping, beading, cabbing, faceting. Kids can _win a chance_ (through drawings on the hour) to learn how to pan for real gold with the Northwest Mineral Prospectors Club. Presentations for adults and children (children need to be accompanied by an adult to all presentations). ... and more!
