About this event
If relaxing, having fun, enjoying good food and listening to great live music over the weekend would be ’The Plan’ — we have exactly what you need at the 4th Annual Englewood Seafood & Music Festival. This year due to construction in Dearborn Street Plaza the event is moving to the Englewood Plaza at 200 S. Indiana Ave (SR 776), just blocks south of downtown Dearborn Street.
Dates of the festivities are January 20-22, 2023. The fun and relaxation starts Friday evening 4pm-10pm and continues Saturday 11am-10pm and Sunday 11am-6pm. Admission is FREE! The event is produced by Paragon Festivals in association with Sarasota County.
Choose your foods from a diverse menu of seafood, meat and vegetarian dishes all cooked fresh on site by local restaurants and food purveyors. Seafood dishes are prepared using only the freshest local and sustainable ocean resources from the Florida Gulf Coast. Select from a diversity of side dishes and of course – awesome desserts! Liquid refreshment includes selections of alcoholic, non-alcoholic and fruit drinks along with sodas and bottled water.
While immersed in great food, listen to some of Florida’s top musical groups from genres such as R&B, blues, jazz, rock and Caribbean sounds. Performers in 2022 were: Free Fallin’ (Tom Petty Tribute Band), Kara Nally Band (blues, funk, soul), Damon Fowler (blues), Bryan Spainhower & Friends (Musica Eclectica), Soul Circus Cowboys (Southern rock), Sean Chambers (blues, rock), U.S. Stones (Rolling Stones Tribute Band), Albert Castiglia (blues), the Whole Band featuring Callie Chappell (Americana, rock, variety), Frank Bang (Chicago blues), and Have Gun, Will Travel (funk, soul). During breaks between performances, enjoy time shopping a marketplace of fine arts, crafts, and select fine products and food items.
