ahlonega celebrates the connection with the southern terminus of the Appalachian Trail with a fun weekend event September 7-9, 2018. Trail Fest is a project of Yahoola Outdoors and is presented by REI Co-op as a festival for outdoor enthusiasts revolving around all aspects of non-motorized recreation: hiking, backpacking, canoeing, kayaking, horseback riding, mountain biking, orienteering, and more! The festival features authors, speakers, workshops, music, food, vendors, and non-profit groups. Major sponsors this year include REI Co-op, Troncalli Subaru, Troncalli Automotive Group, Jekyll Brewing Company, and Urban Tree Cidery.
