I was one of the mermaids who worked with the festival and Angie and she did the best she absolutely could - this was a completely unforecasted and sudden surprise storm cell , and there was very little time to break down tents or attractions once it was identified. I can completely understand as a vendor or attendee being disappointed and frustrated but it was weather and they did the best they could picking right back up once it was safe. This was an extremely aggressive and sudden storm and the event probably took a devastating loss. All of us had high hopes and looked forward to being there but no one can control the weather unless maybe Bigfoot just really didn’t wanna be found. I would absolutely put all my faith in being a part of any event this team was behind again - there was nothing that could have been done in this case. We are all human , please dont pile on.

Despite the bad weather I really enjoyed my second time at the Bigfoot festival. I made a camping trip with my kids out of it and we really enjoyed it. My favorite and my kids favorite part was riding on the Sasquatch Monster truck ride! So fun and the organizers were so nice.

I was at the event 3 days had a great time. I did a Celebrity Meet N Greet at the event & donated my time. I did ads, videos, social media, & radio. I set up My Vendor booth. I sell Survival Outdoor Gear, Handcrafted Jewelery, Bigfoot stuff, & more. Plus our delicious Freedom Pickles! Ive been all over the country this year in all types of events, of all kinds, inside & out. its been the same story honestly. Its an El Nino year & HOT, 10 degress hotter then last years event, & the economys been rough. so ive felt both effects on my bottomline as have all my fellow vendors. Thx to all vendors & patrons who braved the heat. The promoter cant do anything about Ma Nature! Period! It happens! RAIN Yeah it sux as I had to wipe down over 100 wet knives, axes, tools & oil them... 2X! U just suck it up & sleep less Then go, As a Pro Vendor. I feel for handcrafters as a fellow artisan. U can take hits, & have to do write offs or file insurance. Just part of it. Sorry. I'll be back!

Festival vs. Mother Nature and Uwharrie almost won. Heat Advisory to stay indoors by the State broadcasted every morning on the radio and weather stations doesn’t help the vibe. All I know is weather blew in both Friday amd Saturday and I saw the best of humanity with others helping others. I was there all 3 days and suffered through the same heat day after day while others walked away and went home. The festival had everything to make a repeat of last years success. I know how hard it is and if I could give 20 stars I would. I am so grateful for the interactions I had at the event from the talent, vendors , and to the the paying guests. I know I will be back for year 3 and fully support the Uwharrie Bigfoot Festival for years to come. Festivals are just better in the Carolinas!

Absolute worst “event” if you can call it that, that I have ever setup at in 8 years. This was a joke!! Weather had nothing to do with the bad setup, communication, lies, costs for everyone. Every single vendor was completely shocked at the treachery of this “event”. It got so bad that the host had to turn off comments on their page bc visitors and vendors commented the truth and they didn’t like to hear it. An absolute waste! DO NOT SETUP AT “events” THAT THEY HOST

Amy, we are sorry the festival did not meet your expectations. However, several statements in this review are false and misleading. No one lied to our vendors or attendees. We received feedback from many vendors, entertainers, and attendees. Our team invested countless hours and significant resources into planning, advertising, and supporting approximately 95 vendors. The heat significantly reduced attendance, and the storm created conditions that required our staff’s immediate attention throughout the festival grounds. We welcome honest, constructive feedback and are already making improvements for next year. However, spreading misinformation and presenting personal opinions as facts is neither fair nor constructive. As a business owner yourself, I am sure you would not appreciate false information being spread about your business, and we ask for that same consideration. We respect your decision not to participate in our future events and wish you the

These people are great. I know they have been one of the most professional organizers I have come across and always responds. They try really hard to make this an easy time.
