Hi - I am Luann Shutley, owner of That Soap Place. When I look back with the benefit of hindsight, I see the many,many paths that were leading me to taking a leap of faith in starting this business. I feel lucky that I finally took the cosmic nudging and began That Soap Place. It has opened an entirely new world, of research,of friends,of marketing, of Confidence. My philosophy has always been to listen, and to tell the truth, even if it means losing a sale. My customers trust me, and that is a very high honor in my book. I do my best to keep the communication open, and to re-earn that trust with every interaction. My customers mean the world to me, whether a first timer or an established relationship, and I want to offer the very best that I can do, at all times. Handmade from scratch since 2011. I don’t use kits, I don’t use shortcuts. Bath and Body products can be found in every store, from the Dollar Store all the way up to Nordstrom. Why That Soap Place? I like to think it’s because the customer can see, and talk to, the person who made their product. I am available to my customers whenever they have a question,concern,thought,idea. It is not terribly unusual to have a customer text at 2am. I also think my products are a bit superior to some, and certainly more affordable than others. I don’t use fillers, I don’t blindly follow trends. If it doesn’t work, I don’t make it. My products are obtainable luxury.
